As someone who has studied that situation a little, I hope there's no nuclear exchange. Both countries have a solid amount of nukes and the ability to use then effectively. India, for all the memes and rightfully earned negative stereotypes, is developing at a far more sustainable rate than, say, China. They are trying to replace China as the world's go-to for batteries and electronics, as well as biopharmaceutical development. They also don't steal IP like China does. As for Pakistan, its government is dubiously stable, and there is a real fear of nuclear theft with them due to the high number of Islamic fundamentalist groups in the country and around it. Both countries have a policy of using nukes only when an attacker does and both countries have had border skirmishes without resorting to nuclear weapons. They really, really hate each other and are still fighting over Kashmir, making the situation really spooky.

My hope is the US, with its history of "holy fuck DO NOT USE NUKES" presidents (Trump and Obama both agree on anti-proliferation, for example), can prevent a nuclear exchange before it happens.
That actually is a good point. I remember reading something that summarized the aftermath of a possible Indian-Pakistani war is the one of the two plausible scenarios where theft of nuclear weapons could occur. Pakistans instability and already established presence of Islamic groups. The other was the hypothetical scenario of Russia splitting into anarchy, which in the aftermath of the collapse was a genuine risk and something nations discussed.
If shit does go hot, they better have eyes on every nuke in Pakistan.

Why would you have to convince members to pay their dues? Could it be that your unions are worthless and don't do anything other than line the pockets of the leadership?
On top of that, is it just normal for a Union to get to directly deduct from your paycheck? I've never worked a Union job, but it sounds really weird to me.

He's not a retard. He's just evil. He's not stupid. He knows what he's doing and he doesn't care. He's a monster and the most devastating dictator we've seen in modern times. The guy is as bad as Franco. Unfortunately there's no males left in Ukraine because otherwise I'd lynch this mother fucker.
Was Franco bad? Yes the civil war was bloody but he was fighting degenerate communists who were raping nuns.

Zelensky isnt evil, he's just middle management. He's just following orders.

We all know what I meant. I mean Hitler in the socially acceptable way. We all on KiwiFarms understand that Hitler was on the right side of the Holy War.
I'm just saying you've gone twice now analogizing Zelensky to the good guy in the wars against foul commies whose crimes are only brushed aside because they're commies.

as bad as Franco
Franco:
  • Stops Marxist/Anarchist animals from taking over Spain
  • Doesn't start geopolitical trouble with anyone
  • Generally keeps his nose clean
  • Improves overall quality of life in Spain
  • Finds workarounds to NATO/American Empire diplomatic sanction rigamarole without starting a major war
Zelensky:
  • Continually does things to escalate/provoke Russia further
  • Trying to drag the rest of the world into his post-soviet land dispute drama
  • Funds two attempted assassinations on current US president
  • Is backed by every single Globalist/scumbag career politician in America and Europe
  • US puppet (is a literal actor) used by neocons/neolibs for the sake of trying to spite Russia and launder money
Wrong comparison to be making.
We all on KiwiFarms understand that Hitler was on the right side of the Holy War.
>disparages Franco but then says this

Franco succeeded, Hitler failed. Simple as. How about just build up defenses on your western border if you're concerned about former Triple Entente countries in Western Europe instead of declaring war on the whole continent?

FBI arrests Wisconsin judge for obstruction of ICE agents: Kash Patel
Axios (archive.ph)

FBI Director Kash Patel said Friday in a since-deleted post that his agency had arrested a Milwaukee judge who allegedly tried to help an undocumented defendant avoid arrest.

Why it matters: Hannah Dugan, a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge, was arrested on charges of obstruction of an immigration arrest operation, Patel's post said.
  • Axios is reaching out to the FBI for clarity on the situation.
Driving the news: "We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest."
  • Patel added that Flores Ruiz is also in the FBI's custody.
Catch up quick: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported this week that the FBI was looking into whether Dugan tried to help an undocumented immigrant avoid arrest after that person was scheduled to appear in her courtroom last week.
  • In an email to judges, Chief Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Carl Ashley said Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrived at the Milwaukee County Courthouse on April 18 with an arrest warrant, according to the Journal Sentinel.
  • Ashley's note didn't mention Dugan or an FBI investigation into her conduct.
Editor's note: This is a breaking news story. Check back for updates.

I'm kinda shocked Trump hasn't been attacked by the Ukrainians.

Wasn't one of his would be assassins heavily connected to the Ukraine? And the one that killed his parents and was prepping to try and an hero himself against Trump's SS agents was planning on fleeing to the Ukraine afterwards?

Twice by Americans tied to Ukrainians. The golf course shooter mentioned before who was in Ukraine and actively recruiting westerners for them was already mentioned.

However, the kid that killed his parents and went off to kill Trump was also in talks with Ukrainians directly about his plans and being hidden in the country afterwards. Could be rogue irate Azov Nazis bitter that they'll probably get the retaliation for the war crimes while the Jew in charge will live in one of his mansions, could be the money launderers in the government setting it up through glow vodkaniggers to have plausible deniability to turn the American taxpayer spigot back on.

Those seemed like a stretch. I am talking more like Zelensky raging and trying to start an op. I want those tapes.

Absolutely - it's one of the first things union officials will demand during contract negotiations. If they don't get this, as we're seeing here, a substantial % of membership will "forget" to pay, not be able to pay (money's tight this month!), or outright refuse to pay. Unions are a business and need to protect their cash flow.

Also I like Franco. I don't like Zelensky.

Add that to the list.

Everyone imagines they like unions until they know anything about them and realize they now have a second layer of bosses and also a second layer of taxes.

The first one is a lot easier to dismiss, it's hard to tell though since it was investigated by Biden's FBI and I'm sure higher ups wouldn't question info being left or missing from printed records, but he comes across a lot more like a NPC that ODed on NAFO propaganda and did it all on his own cause he thought it was best for the most important country to democracy.

The kid though reeks of glow, and that's how something like this would happen. You're not going to have Z man ship the kid a signed M4, it's going to be nothing officially said and through people that don't have official connections. Frankly it's just as possible the CIA, Chinks, or Justin Trudeau and putting the blame on the Ukies, and we'll never know.

Everyone imagines they like unions until they know anything about them and realize they now have a second layer of bosses and also a second layer of taxes.
At a point unions were needed. They were still hopelessly corrupt at heart but they did some good. Now they just bleed workers and work to benefit themselves above all.

Well, there's another thing to add to the list of things I dislike about unions.

Not sure if it was posted here already, but "Federal authorities arrest Wisconsin judge" (archive)
Federal authorities have arrested a Wisconsin-based judge amid an investigation into whether she tried to help a migrant lacking permanent legal status avoid arrest after he appeared in her courtroom.

Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed the arrest in a post on X.

“I can confirm that our @FBI agents just arrested Hannah Dugan – a county judge in Milwaukee – for allegedly helping an illegal alien avoid an arrest by @ICEgov,” Bondi wrote. “No one is above the law.”

Dugan, a Milwaukee County Circuit judge, was arrested around 8 a.m. CDT, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, citing confirmation from the U.S. Marshals Service.

Her arrest would mark an aggressive move by the administration on immigration enforcement and a major escalation in its battles with the courts, which have issued decisions pushing back on some of the administration’s actions.

FBI Director Kash Patel also referenced the arrest in a now-deleted social media post.

“Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week,” Patel wrote.

“We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest.”

Patel added Flores Ruiz was later “chased down … on foot” and is also in custody.

The FBI in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment about why Patel deleted his tweet.

The FBI Field Office in Milwaukee also did not immediately respond to request for comment nor did the U.S. Marshals.

The Hill has left a message with Milwaukee County Courts Chief Judge Carl Ashley.

The Journal Sentinel reported last week that Flores Ruiz, a Mexican national, was arrested after being due in Dugan’s courtroom on three misdemeanor counts of battery stemming from a fight with roommates.

According to the Journal Sentinel, when ICE officials appeared at the courthouse on April 18, they presented a warrant, but when Dugan left to speak to the offices she directed Flores Ruiz and his attorney “to a side door in the courtroom, directed them down a private hallway and into the public area on the 6th floor” where her courtroom is located.

The outlet said it was the third time in recent months that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have come to the courthouse with arrest warrants.

Under the Biden administration, ICE was prohibited from making arrests in certain sensitive areas like schools and churches. The Trump administration rescinded that memo and replaced it with a new one in January, outlining specific criteria for conducting immigration enforcement at courthouses.
Also, I saw this one and it gave me a smile: "Trump: Harvard a ‘threat to democracy’" (archive)
President Trump went on a rampage Thursday against Harvard on his social platform Truth Social, calling America’s oldest university a “threat to democracy.”

“Harvard is an Anti-Semitic, Far Left Institution, as are numerous others, with students being accepted from all over the World that want to rip our Country apart,” the president posted.

“The place is a Liberal mess, allowing a certain group of crazed lunatics to enter and exit the classroom and spew fake ANGER AND HATE. It is truly horrific! Now, since our filings began, they act like they are all ‘American Apple Pie,’” he added.

The post alludes to the Ivy League school’s ongoing legal battle against the administration. Trump said the school has hired an attorney who also works for the Trump Organization.

“Harvard is a threat to Democracy, with a lawyer, who represents me, who should therefore be forced to resign, immediately, or be fired. He’s not that good, anyway, and I hope that my very big and beautiful company, now run by my sons, gets rid of him ASAP!” he said.

Shortly after the post, The Trump Organization fired its adviser Bill Burck, the attorney hired by Harvard, NewsNation reported.

“I view it as a conflict and I will be moving in a different direction,” Eric Trump said in a statement to the outlet.

Harvard sued the administration for taking away $2.2 billion in funding after it refused to bow to Trump’s demands, which included changes to its hiring and admission practices, as well as eliminating its diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

Trump has also sought to target Harvard’s tax-exempt status, and his Department of Homeland Security has threatened to eliminate its ability to enroll international students.

His post denouncing the school came after its president, Alan Garber, gave an interview to NBC News in which he said he “will not compromise on certain issues.”

“We are defending what I believe is one of the most important lynchpins of the American economy and way of life: our universities,” Garber said.
