So 30 white Ex-Ubisoft people can make something more polished and fun with BETTER RATINGS than 3000 DEI hirings have done with AssFuck me in the Shadow?

It's almost like having greedy bosses telling you to make the same slop over and over again leads to you making slop?

And if this game does really well, expect no one to understand why, and just assume they should pivot to RPGs.
Plug in that removes the 30fps cap in cutscenes and fixes ultrawide.

Damn, modders are moving fast.

Played a few hours last night and I'm really enjoying it so far. Playing on Linux and the game would crash after the prologue ending cutscene. Skipped it and it's been fine ever since.

The game looks, sounds, and plays great so far. The story is intriguing so far and I'm excited to play more this weekend.

You will never be a real gamer.

You have no achievements, no Steam library, no destroyed gaming equipment from laggy servers. You’re a corporate suit twisting passion into profit. Your knowledge is sourced from market analytics rather than late-night gaming marathons.

You speak buzzwords without understanding their roots. Real gamers sense your disconnect; the paid shills are polite enough not to say it, but they cringe at your forced enthusiasm. Your carefully rehearsed speeches fail to hide your unfamiliarity with the joys of an all-night raid or the pain of a game-breaking bug.

Behind your polished presentations, gamers mock your attempts to blend in. You might hold the title of CEO, but deep down, you know you’re just a casual pretending.

Eventually, your shareholders will see through the facade. You’ll return to your corporate meetings, never having felt the genuine thrill of a fun and original video game.

You will never be a gamer.

i played a little last night and the game runs like butter, the characters arent fucking abominations and the story seems intriguing. i wonder if will meet painting lady and ask her yo what the fuck are you doing. word of mouth will help this game.

The story has been a rollercoaster. I am at the final area, its impossible for it not to be the final area tbh but I've hit the wall against a boss I cannot beat and I think I need to go back and grind. I've been surprised at the difficulty level of the game actually. Maybe my old reaction times just aren't there anymore haha but I cannot seem to keep track of the multiple dodge and parry buttons, which ones to use, and when.

I loved act 1 but the ending of act 1 pissed me off. The story for me was at the high point in the second half of act 2. I think act 3 is strange and I'm not sure how to feel but the intro to the final area had me nodding along saying "alright this is getting cool again". Hopefully the ending carries that feeling over the finish line, apparently the game has multiple endings.

The area I am in, for anyone who has finished the game is

EDIT Well it looks like spoilers are broken because that didn't show up...
