there's definitely some kind of scalp-related..., uh, anomaly... up there.

We already figured out some time back, that Wu had a forehead reduction surgery. Basically what they do is to cut a piece off your forehead skin and pull the rest forward so your hairline is lower. That leaves a scar right between hairline and forehead.

Of course that doesn't help jack shit, if you are still loosing hair from male pattern baldness. It actually makes it even worse, since your scar becomes more visible as your hairline retreats further.

You think she'd use propecia or something similar to halt the balding where it was, at the very least after Frank shelled out for the forehead reduction.

Maybe it feels not authentic for a True And Honest Woman to take a medication that has 50 warning labels on it that women shouldn't even touch the pills (seriously, they'll fuck your ladyparts up). Imagine her going to the pharmacy to fill it and explaining that she's actually just living in the wrong male and balding body, but hand over my anti balding pills, you patriarchal scum.

I think we might see Wu wearing a wig in the near future.

I don't know why he doesn't use them already. He's needed one for years; it would allow him to soften his face and look more feminine. I think he's just to spergy to understand how they work, in the same way that he doesn't understand makeup, how to dress professionally for a TV interview, or how to adjust his body language. No female politician - or aspiring female politician - would go on camera in the outfit she did, without someone doing hair and makeup. It came across as totally unprofessional. He's so focused on looking like one of his characters (like a vision of yesterday's tomorrow, a "future woman" would look like created in the 1960s aka Barbarella) that he can't adjust in any way.

John's scalp scar is also potentially the access point for a brow lift.

'Please assume I know what I'm talking about,' sounds like something Frank has said a ton of times to John and now Flynt is using in mimicry to kick back out at the world. It can also double as the headstone engraving for the failed primary's final resting plot here in a little bit.

Where do these calls keep coming from?

I honestly don't think that day will ever come as much as I would like to see it. John won't ever allow himself to be put in that position.

It'll be worth it when someone takes him to task for it in public and asks the simple question, "Can you show us your engineering degree?"

That day will live on forever in our autistic hearts.

It will never happen because she no longer claims to have a degree and the only claims that still exist are on archive.org links from years ago.

She will just keep using phrases like "Went to college for engineering (Or Journalism, or Poli Sci, or whatever is convenient.) Most people will take it to mean that she has a degree, but if she is ever actually asked to prove it, she'll just say "Well I didn't say I got a degree."

John very much seems to be a beast of habit, so when he's dealing with subjects that he's dealt with in the past, he understands how to phrase things to keep himself out of trouble. That's why he hasn't been nailed on the college thing yet - he knows that it's very easy for him to get caught so he is very careful about it. But as soon as he starts moving into less familiar territory, like say MOON ROCKS, his need to seem like an expert on everything is what gets him in trouble.

All it will take is one shit-stirrer in a setting where Wu doesn't control things. She had a pants-shitting session over Natalie already.
I hope it happens but I think he's going to control every town hall he has and only do friendly interviews.

"How were you queer?"
"I was bi, but I'm married to a man now."

That was some ninjitsu she probable spent weeks thinking up.

I'm well behind on the Wu drama but saw the part about her bragging about an interview in the Daily Mail. Did anyone point out this deleted tweet?

I guess it isn't "hard to work with the Daily Mail" again as long as they are giving you the attention you crave.
