At the risk of falling for sarcasm, It is not expensive to train for Boxing for the average person and the previous fighting stipend of whatever the Jomhas gave fighters was extremely excessive.

Boxing for charity is stupid in many ways, but there is an element of personal sacrifice for a 'good cause' if the money is there. I don't know that it will be this time, so its more of a self-harm situation for the current fighters.

There is no political controversy around it, which will attract sponsors and financial backers. I don't know if Ian and Anisa knew about this but they are absolutely fucked.

I can only speculate as to how much money Ian and Anisa have, but if they are taking a salary from CC3 they have probably been burning through more savings than they should've. They were left holding the bag on CC2, and there is not going to be any crowdfunding stream which will save them. However, I still they think they have the ability to cover fighter pay if nothing else. That's me being charitable by assuming they'd only organize an event that they can recover from using their savings if it failed.

I'm sure she'd love to leapfrog to some leftie simp dick, but looking like she does, she'd be hard pressed to find any takers.
