Isn't there an ethical code about not diagnosing people who are not your patients? Maybe that's just a psychiatrist thing, not a psychologist thing.
I don't think there should be legal consequences, but I do think people should learn to distrust these people. He has a degree, but I don't think he is a practicing therapist or anything. Maybe I am wrong. I think you do have to be licensed in order to give someone a diagnosis, but it differs depending on what is being diagnosed. I've heard that they've expanded what kinds of medical care providers can diagnose autism.

Kirk Honda isn't giving a formal diagnosis, he is just giving his opinion. Anyone can do that. Lawtube does this all the time. What I have an issue with is the way narcissistic self absorbed people weaponize "experts" like Kirk Honda to deflect criticism or attack others with impunity, because our society is so infantilized and there is special credence given to "therapy" (they never specify what kind of therapy or methodology). Ethan and Ian both weaponize mental health and emulating how therapists talk to ignore criticism.
He’s what psychologists call “rent a quote” in the UK. Academics are super bitchy and jealous but usually right in their cuntiness.
As much as I hate praising academics, YouTube "experts" also should not be taken seriously and rarely have any valuable experience or real research under their belt. Nick Rekieta was an incompetent lawyer who became wildly popular despite not knowing the law that well and having so many personal issues.

I feel like the difference between Ian and Ethan's left wing turns is that Ethan at least managed to keep his personality. He tries to make jokes and be entertaining. There's a reason why he's maintained a hugely successful podcast over the years. Ian on the other hand fully transformed into a joyless soycuck zombie. He's incapable of being funny anymore, he doesn't even understand the concept of humor at this point. It's why his podcast barely cracks 2k views an episode. Ethan was right to call it out for being dogshit. Ian and Anisa have no chemistry together. How are you married for 5 years and yet have no chemistry? Their whole show is just two joyless zombies that act like they just met each other rambling about some topic nobody cares about.
I do not think Ethan had a turn. He was always a lefty. He just made edgier jokes. Many anti sjws of the past were some flavor of lefty or liberal. It's possible to still have such values but maintain a fucked up sense of humor. But now everyone is oversensitive and at the mercy of their rabid audience, and it's become all or nothing.
I distinctly remember Ethan was also a Hilary voter during the 2016 elections, the golden era for anti sjw content on youtube, and he even ended up on the news for his tweets about Hilary losing. (There is also a video of Ian where Ian explicitly said he would vote for Trump. I can't remember if it was a video with Ethan or with Philip DeFranco, it was such a long time ago.)

This is also why I think Ian could have very easily "matured" and shifted values (whether he had opposite values for real or not in the past, I can't tell if anything he said was ever real anymore), but not been such a performative faggot about it and allowed himself to become such a public toilet. And I don't think Ethan is a good example for that, because keep in mind he has also had incidents of being an annoying faggot. If anything I'd say the better examples of people who made the shift than Ethan would be Like Maxmoefoe and AnythingForViews. Those two are clearly maintaining some kind of a balance.

The reason Ian did not do the same was because he is an insecure faggot and couldn't handle being mocked for Anisa's Onlyfans. This is also why I believe he was never more "charismatic" or "confident" like many believe he was. He was just doing what was cool and acceptable in the past, and he had the irony shield to protect him. But the facade easily fell apart when he managed to get a girlfriend to take his virginity. Per Anisa's words, by the way. She took his virginity.

Literally all he had to do was not moralfag so hard, he could have continued to make mediocre shit and pivot towards leftist ideals and if anything be considered "chill now", but his ego was just too fragile. Sam Hyde is another example of how to get under his skin. He literally cannot handle not being able to control the narrative.

Ian humping the handmade doll that Ethan and Hila gave him in the first minutes of the video is disgusting.
As a longtime fan of the 2016 commentary community, the first time I saw him humping the "Jeff Dunham Fuck Doll," I realized, "Oh shit, he really doesn't give a fuck". It's one thing to make a video shitting on your friend, but straight up being a disrespectful little faggot about it makes me mad on Ethan's behalf.

I remember when Ethan and Hila were selling those dolls because they were struggling with bills (I think while living in Israel or Jew York) and all of Ethan's close friends got one. The fact Ian kept that doll only to mock it 10+ years later sets in stone how over it is.

How are you married for 5 years and yet have no chemistry?
Well they probably don't love eachother but are constantly lying to themselves and eachother about how happy they are with their decisions, dishonesty makes for a tense environment like that. Wasn't ian choice #4 or something for anisa in her lovequest?
They're both weird people that seem more engaged with the online parasocial relationship with their audience than their personal ones and they're terrible at managing both. It's why Anisa will always be queen of the beauty parlor, of all the things she claims she's done this is her crowning and most hilarious achievement.

i think the fake mumkey vs rusty cage boxing match is a much more interesting and good for society than creator clash 3.
If only those two would actually host a match in Gainesville Florida, alongside Eggy White vs Emp as the undercard. As what Mr. Toby Reynolds said, "I'm calling you out EmperorLemon! Meat eater vs tree eater! Mano a mano! Gainesville Florida 2023!"

I think h3's best possible answer is making a collab with the Cold Ones guys, he doesn't need to acknowledge icuckzzz and Anisa's anymore, but making a fun video with his friends would be a very easy slam dunk because the collabs of Ian with Cold Ones were... offputtingly horrendous.

I dunno if Max and Chad would want to be involved with Ethan tho, the content these dudes are making these is basically normiecore.

Don't worry, empathic Ian said in the video that they just wanna put a pause on the friendship!

Unironically calling yourself "woke" is grim.

Woke people don't call themselves woke. Even sane people don't really like it as an insult I think, at least i don't, because it sounds dumb. And mostly use it as a joke.

He and Anisa have been calling themselves woke trying to own the label, and it always comes across really cringe and forced.

Reminds me of when quinton reviews tried to become a breadtuber, and bought the book that the name comes from. Unaware that breadtubers don't actuay call themselves breadtubers and it isn't a real community.
"They don’t call themselves woke" anymore. Just like they stopped calling themselves SJWs once it became a meme. People act like that label was always an insult, but nah, they made it up and wore it like a badge. First time I heard someone say it proudly, I actually laughed out loud. He really thought he was some kind of hero. Like, calm down, Captain Hashtag.

Doesn't Chad hate Ethan?

As someone who's never seen anything with iDubbbz before that, I just wanted to say he comes off extremely lame and gay. More so since he's acting like a monkey around those leftist elitists, which makes him seem like that kid back at school we all knew, that sucked up to the popular group and desperately wanted to be liked.

I'm just over an hour into this and it's stunning. The guy just flatly believed everything in the proto-content cop that Ian showed him, says Ian is coming from a place of love, accuses Ethan of bullying Ian, calls Ethan paranoid for seeing Ian as an enemy, doesn't understand Ethan flaunting the apology is a joke, and many other reframings.

More than anything else I've ever seen, this has convinced me that therapists are fucking nut cases who weaponize words and feelings. The simple fact that he doesn't acknowledge any fault of Ian's is enough to tell me he's a charlatan.
Check out the comments. His own community is against him on this one, even calling Ian a bad person.

It's weird to me that Kirk Honda is aware of the false CPS calls but then somehow still sides with Ian on this.

I don't get the viewpoint.

It always amazes me how different Anisa looks without all those filters, she ages up atleast 15 years.
