I can only hope when things start rolling for Pat's trial that any squealing about stalker childs falls on deaf ears. They didn't want to facilitate any sort of trolling with discovery and I can understand that from the view of the police, but I think if Pat squeals about closing the trial to the public because of stalkers he's going to be told to pound sand since this case does not involve national security, juveniles, or something personal like sex crimes (despite how fucked he's going to be). The public has a right to access and so Brothermen and kiwis can make the journey and take notes like they have for Rekieta and all he can do is fatly seethe.

Patposting has been in another lull and it's been slow going on when we get more info so I'm giddy for this to go to trial and for Pat to get his chance to be heard... as the pathological liar he is.

Patrick getting cross-examined by the city-lawyers would be the greatest trial moment in lolcow history.

I wonder if the Judge would let evidence of Patrick being a psycho on social media be seen by the jury. He posted a lot about the swattings, and accused Twitter accounts in the hundreds of being the ones swatting him.

The poor city attorneys might have to peruse years of Patposting on Twitter and Bluesky. They better have a sense for absurdist humor, otherwise this will be tough for them.

I'm not a lawyer, but I think it'd be admissible. An obvious line of defense for the city is that they were dealing with a ragepig, and there's ample evidence for that in his tweets.

I'd enjoy it if the jury were tempted to give him the win except for his unforced errors, and informed the judge that this was why they couldn't find in his favor. All that lovely money just gone because he couldn't shut his idiot mouth. You love to see it.
