Maybe, yeah. In any case, Ian is a ghoul and he is just as bad as Anisa. This is an observation I wanted to make because we in this thread (me included) like to fall into the trap of thinking he is the victim of Anisa. But they are both demonic pieces of shit. And just for good measure: I hate the Kleins, too.

The first two, they banned Sam Hyde and kicked Froggy Fresh. They knew they had to up the ante this year, and give us all something we wouldn't expect, and they sure delivered.

10 pages behind still so maybe I'm late as well, but this was something that struck me as really odd but I put in the back of my mind as it's surrounded by very odd things. As someone else said, I'm convinced he was showing him a video that was actually a Content Cop, decided to run it by theRAPIST, and the therapist said it was too mean (no shit, what else would he expect?) so he put something else together last minute.

If you look at it from that perspective, a lot of things begin to make sense. The "wake up Ethan" and cabin skits, maybe the outro where he gets all of the people from the intro who are noticeably missing from the actual video, and most importantly, the interview where he's sobbing his eyes out, are probably all that remains of that original Content Cop. After I had watched the video I immediately went to Dr. Spock Lexus' channel to look for it, but it's not there. I can only hope and pray that that portion at least sees the light of day some day and it doesn't get vaulted like the Dani interview

Speaking of the intro, I knew that doll he humps at the start was familiar, and of course, it's the dunny doll that was a handcrafted gift from Ethan and Hila.
Ever since his apology video I have noticed time and time again that Ian tends to make very weird and psychopathic comments that ironically come off like he lacks empathy. I have always written these off as him being severely autistic and not understanding how his comments come off, as well as him being angry in general. But honestly the more I think about how he talked about his friendship with the Kleins as being a "light friendship", that he puts the friendship on the same level as he puts his friendship with fucking DENNIMS at, i.e "just a casual internet friendship", how he said Ethan should've taken his silence as him wanting to "pause the friendship" or something like that, and other comments I can't remember right now, I'm honestly kind of disgusted and don't think you can chuck this down as him being autistic. This is just blatantly admitting that you never cared about these people and going "FUCK YEW FOR TELLING ME WHAT TO DO BISH" and instantly burning a bridge as soon as they ask anything of you ala Ethan Ralph. Just for asking you to send out one Tweet. They never asked for anything in the years they defended the Jomhas and advertised their event for free and he has the gall to say THEY see the friendship as transactional.

And as if he didn't come off as enough of a self-centred cunt in the video, he shows himself crying about the harassment HIS LOVELY WIFE WHO IS JUST TRYING TO EXIST receives online, when this is supposed to be about the Kleins who are objectively getting it far worse than they ever did, and he thinks this is coming off as empathetic. It's bizarre how genuinely clueless he is with the concept. It's almost like a running gag.

Also the comment he made where he was mad at Kirk Honda for saying Ethan needs a hug, and Ian says he thinks he should be beaten instead. Makes me think of when he said Cart Narcs' behaviour "makes him want to be very violent". I thought it was funny then, but now I'm wondering if we're witnessing a guy one really bad day away from actually doing something violent.

Then there's the fact that he never mentions the CPS shit, like at all. He had to have known, even if he didn't know during the podcast episode (which I don't believe at this point), even if he didn't know while he was putting this together, he must've known by the time of posting. And he deliberately CHOSE to not include any of that.

That shit is legitimately evil. Psychopath shit. And like everyone keeps asking, for what? He is getting nothing out of this. Everyone can very clearly see that these people are going to stone him to death over practically nothing, and he's going to have to deal with all the backlash on his own. Who else is left? Uncle Dane? He never stuck his neck out like Ethan did. He keeps his TF2 channel far away from this shit show. Max used to be loyal, but that friendship is likely pretty much over. Max doesn't like Hasan and he probably thinks backstabbing Ethan like this is fucked up, even if he might not like Ethan (idk if they've ever interacted). It wouldn't surprise me if a public fallout between Ian and Maxmoefoe is coming in the horizon at this point, started by Ian, because Max clearly doesn't do that type of shit.

With 308k dislikes, this is his most disliked video, beating his Sex Workers video (267k dislikes), and I believe it's his only video aside from the Cart Narcs one with a negative like to dislike ratio. For those of you who say that he's botting, you're absolutely right. Every one of his uploads that gets disliked bombed always suspiciously manages to have slightly more likes than dislikes, just enough to keep it in the positive. This one is too shitty for the bots to save I guess :story:

Unless you can prove the 260,000 dislikes are from bots or something then it really doesn’t matter, the video clearly isn’t getting the positive reception Idubbbz might have thought it would get. The only people who liked the video I’ve seen are pockets of Twitter and Reddit tankies who hate Ethan anyways

Not a new thought, but I have no idea why women find Hasan attractive. H's not ugly, I guess, but he's far, far from being hot or anything above average. I just don't find swarthy/darker skin attractive, I guess.

The selection bias argument is kind of a moot point. Hundreds of thousands of people have downloaded that dislike extension. People assume sample sizes need to be massive. In reality it's probably a fairly accurate representation of the dislikes.

Just an example to demonstrate how small sample sizes need to be, but if you wanted an accurate poll of the 4m people that watched that video, you'd only need a sample size of 385 people.

This is true but doesn't take into account that the people who download this extension are a segment of YT users who care about like/dislike ratios enough to go ahead and do that, which is not at all reflective of the overall YT userbase. Hence selection bias is still a valid concern and the real stats are likely still off. We just don't know by how much.

I am sure Idubbbz's screenshot is deceitful, there is no way he has a 85+% likes on that video. The truth is probably somewhere between what he posted, and what the extension is telling us.
