Nick is a pathological narcissist, a narcissist will throw a lifelong friendship, marriage etc in the trash over the smallest perceived criticism. He doesn't have any real true friends. They're either people he can easily manipulate and control, or they're not useful to him. That includes his wife and kids too.
It reminds me of Jason "Thor" Hall's --better known as PirateSoftware-- need to remind everyone that he worked at blizzard (as QA, getting the job by being a nepobaby) whenever possible.
People so divorced from the reality 99% of the world lives in that they see absolute mundane tasks as backbreaking sisyphean burdens and trophies of ultimate sacrifice both. Remember Nick also cooks for his KEEEEEEEEEEEEEDZ once a month!, an awe inspiring paragon of fatherhood he is.

When I occasionally do a Google search with keywords + Rekieta, the Farms posts often come up. Most people know how to "internet". I'm sure the investigator has seen plenty, among others in the community. (Also, Judges Fischer and Wentzell both have teenagers who are probably tuned in.)
He's paid off everything (notably the violations in Stearns County from March 2024) except the rather serious incident on April 6, 2024 when he's said that he was 'beyond stressed' (or something). April had just left Aaron.
It's been sent to collections. I keep checking bc it seems like a good idea to clear that up before getting SENTENCED TO A FELONY.
It's obvious Nick hasn't learned anything if he describes publicly doing drugs as awesome and the only chance for corrective action will be for him to spend 30 days in prison to get a taste of what future consequences will be. Otherwise the lesson he'll learn is that he can publicly downplay the seriousness of what he did and undermine the legal system without consequence.
Not to mention the amount of court time and resources he wasted when he could have just reached a plea deal from the start.
The two in combination with each other are troubling.
The only question is whether the court system is going to tolerate him doing this behavior. If they do, and thereby validate his behavior so far, they can look forward to seeing him again one day when he screws up. Only next time it could be a familial overdose or an impaired driving accident. I hope, if he injures anyone else, that they sue the county for letting him loose on society.

this is worth emphasizing because it's so fascinating. his life really has been absorbed by the Internet. his private life has shrunk down to so little that strangers who laugh at him online are familiar with the only three people willing to write letters in his defense. there is literally nobody else who could vouch for the guy. no matter how this turns out, it beggars belief how much this guy has ruined his life (and several others) due to his depravity.

it's a church based homeschooling co-op. generally when someone "fucks up" the local community / church would rally around them and try to get them back on the right path. these people want absolutely nothing to do with this guy. it's evidence of just how abrasive and awful he was - they legitimately want him gone and out of the community.
if i was in a homeschooling co-op and had like, say, a drinking problem, other parents would be like "yeah, he has THIS problem, and he's a good guy, but we're going to work together and get him back on the straight and narrow"
the fact that no one wants anything to do with him shows that his behavior has been deemed egregious to the point of no return. he has no sponsors, no one to say "but there's all these good qualities, he just has this singular vice"
I've legit only seen that when someone is an insane child molester or serial killer so it's wild he has achieved that status
