He's in a small town, all of those miles are on roads where you can comfortably go 75 mph and you know Nick drives at least 90 most of the time. FWIW there are no roads in Minnesota where you can go 75. If you look at the United States map, the cucked New England/New York area limits at 60 mph, East Coast and the CA/WA/OR area is 70 mph tops, with only the western United States and Texas allowing 75+ mph (paradoxically, Travis Co., the most cucked county of Texas, has that 85 mph toll road so it's the fastest). Kandoyahi is capped at 65.

I've driven two routes to three major cities, and one is the least miserable with long 70+ mph stretches broken up by two small towns (but no more than a few stoplights each), one is 65+ mph but pretty much all freeway with good sight lines, and one has several towns in the route with lots of annoying stoplights even in the more rural areas (and then you hit the main city and that's where the "fun" really starts).

The average commute by car is around 22 minutes each way, so unless Nick is pulling >45+ minute each way numbers he's bullshitting. (And still not an excuse).
