I'm somewhat surprised how easy they all were to dox. I quit being a janny ~five years ago, so quite interesting to see many of the names are still there. I wonder if they will release the expired jannies details - that will be a laugh.

Most of the newer mods are simply elevated jannies, there was a "hidden" rule in place that if you were asked to become a mod, you would give up your old username and take on a completely new account as a mod. I only know this because I was quite close to many of them back in the IRC days (before they switched to Discord) so naturally when they come online with a different account it's easy to figure it out.

RapeApe has been running 4chan even before Moot left. Moot was rarely online towards the end and I figured that RA would end up just taking over, but it forever felt like a money trap, just one bad day from closing in general. I'm not sure how much money Hiro sunk into it, but he was never active either.

Has any of the Discord or IRC logs been leaked? If /j/ is still the same as it was, there is nothing of interest there at all - perhaps gets one post a week.

He was infamously doxed by Sharty back in 2021 for melting the fuck down over soyteens stealing GET on his favourite board /s4s/ (But he also moderates /tv/ and /g/). He had attempted to abuse his mod powers to get the GET but horrifically failed, getting post n°10000001 instead. This made him so furious that he nuked the thread and banned and even permabanned. One of the only members of 4chan staff allowed to be open about being a mod. As a result of this, he has been doxed endlessly for shitting up /g/ with flamewar threads that violate the only rule on the board to the point he text banned his address from 4chan

What an absolute fucking faggot. I look forward to spamming his faggy reddit face every chance I get once we're back online.
