I wonder why Alexa Lavoie has lasted so long with Rebel News.

I suppose she's their entire Quebec/Francophone bureau. Especially after that really Jewy guy from Montreal whose name escapes me (the guy that the Montreal police during COVID referred to on camera as "media juif") moved down to Florida.

But the Rebel News talent besides Sheila Gunn Reid and David Menzies don't tend to stick around too long. Either due to low pay or Ezra Levant's shenanigans.

She's been with them for 3+ years. I recall her taking a tear gas canister point blank out of the launcher off her thigh on the frontlines of the convoy standoff with the police. That would've been Feb 2022.

I was watching the stream live. She immediately shouted in pain and began bawling. They dragged her into some sort of medical tent on the trucker side and pulled her tights down on air (though I don't think anything carnal was shown), revealing a huge bruise.

An elderly man who can barely order a sandwich in French is about to be assaulted for two consecutive hours. I have taken the liberty of contacting a rape crisis centre.

I can't imagine I will be surprised about what happens this debate at this point.

You know it is bad when San Francisco is cleaning up its tent cities and the problem is getting worse in Toronto. One day maybe Toronto residents will also understand that the only reason the problem exists is because they let it and don't crack down on it.

San Francisco Article
With the exploding homeless population in Toronto, I can only hope it means more liberal politicians, judges, and elite are pushed in front of trains/set on fire by random crazies.

Good, they aren't a real party. It's so Elizabeth May has something to do that isn't day drinking.
That's exactly why I wanted a sloshed Liz May in the debates to provide entertainment.
If it was even May participating. That co-leader thing would be hilarious to see play out if they treated it seriously. Two Green leaders on the debate stage, both contradicting each other, both completely batshit insane - a true Canadian experience :story:

Nobody won the French debate. Carney was getting bullied a fair bit but was able to hold his ground. Singh throwing every piece of shit at the wall to see what sticks to save his own ass

I wasn't able to watch it since I was working late, but I've been hearing from Francophones that Carney was literally unintelligible lol.

So I was curious if the interpretation had missed something on carney's French and already this clip sticks out to me

If carney sweeps quebec even after this I never want to hear any bullshit about the French language's importance ever again

I went to a different park than usual to walk my dog.

I thought it was odd that after supper there was an entire row filled with sedans, but whatever.

It was a nice night and the walking track was pretty busy, so it could've accounted for the lot.

So busy in fact that we were swarmed on all sides by other dogs and their owners. We ended up bailing within a few hundred feet because some asshole has his dog loose and walking a couple of dozen feet in front of him, coming towards us. My dog is a rescue with some reactivity issues persisting, so we take the first exit available.

There's still a decent amount of snow on the ground, so I figure I'll take her to the enclosed ball diamond, safe from the loose dogs and the masses.

We descend the crest of the hill, and to my horror, the full parking lot's answer suddenly reveals itself.

Beside the ball diamond, there must be two dozen jeets playing cricket and taking over half the park.

There's still fucking snow on the ground!

I detour passed the playground and that's full of nothing but tiny pajeetas playing in the still frozen sand as well.

We are so cooked, kiwileaf bros.

Continuing to get riled up re: CBC

Here's an article about the ICIJ.

A real and organic organization, that was totally not a beneficiary of USAID [and/or similar] largesse.

But you wouldn't know that from the headline… because it uses bullshit clickbait rhetoric to tease the reader into finding out WHICH NETWORK OF TRUE/HONEST/BRAVE JOURNALISTS [WHO ARE NOT SPIES] DID THIS INCREDIBLE WORK.

Maxime Bernier was on Cucker Tarlson yesterday
It was a decent interview he called it like it is. Fractional banking and immigration is going to kill this country.

PPC or bust. Idc if they don't get any seats.

Here's an article about the ICIJ.

The Aussie Gerard Ryle guy they are trying to portray as a muckraker hero sure sounds like a piece of work.

"Well, I had a fair idea. Another tip for you as a journalist is try to get stuff anonymously because you can always then say you don't know who the source was. And so when I was dealing with the sources, I was saying, 'Well, look, if you wanted to give me this material, please just send it to me in a brown paper bag at my newspaper address.' And when it arrived, my biggest challenge was understanding it and trying to work out what it was."

This is in the context that some anon slipped him some info exposing some supposed financial crimes.

He likely prefers his sources to be anonymous document dumps so that he can maintain plausible deniability that he isn't being fed by glowies.

And there I saw an email address with his offshore company and the email address was something like: 'On the run at hotmail.com.' And honestly, it was like a light bulb [moment] for me. I thought, 'Oh my God, I wish I knew a Canadian journalist, I could give this to.' But when you're an investigative reporter and you're working in one country, you really have no interest in helping anybody else.

"I was gifted some offshore corruption deets, but I just put it in the roundfile because I'm too lazy, competitive and selfish to pass it on"

This hasn't come up a lot lately in public, but what do you think about WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange?
"The model that he was using was very much: publish everything. And I think that was a model that went against journalism because the idea of journalism is that you filter the information. You only publish what's in the public interest, not everything. The criticism of WikiLeaks was that it was just basically raw data dumped."

"The problem with Julian Assange is that he revealed everything. The job of the modern journoscum is actually to "filter the information" and only publish "what's in the public interest" - determined by me, the glowies and my elitist overlords of course."

French language no longer matters when more people speak Hindi,, Punjabi or West African Nigger French compared to Quebecois French
Avoiding the shit storm by speaking French. Slick.

I guess thats the reason it was done in French. To filter out most of the immigrants. I would go even further: to filter out the jeets. Those fucks can barely speak English, not to mention French. Remember the two jeets who were running for the Liberal leadership? Neither could speak French. French and in Quebec, the only way to even mention immigration in a political debate in 2025. As close to Nazi Germany as it gets. LMAO.
But my conclusion from this is: there is a consensus on immigration between the Libs and the Cons, they kinda see it as a "problem". Well the bad news is I guess it doesnt matter who you vote for. They have the same approach.

My fuckin boomer neighbor said the way to get an English speaker on the phone when you call Service Canada or the bank or something is: to ask for service in French. The French guy usually is white and speaks perfect English. Go figure.
