Fanfiction Horrors

So alongside the standard fanfiction.net and ao3.org horrors, there are some Fanfiction sites that have sprung up specifically around one particular piece of work - Harry Potter being the most prominent example. Before AO3.org started, but after fanfiction.net started to (try to) purge all the explicit stuff, most of the errotica got pushed onto these more specific sites. This is where some of the really, really dodgy stuff can be found. I'll link some of the really horrifying stuff on here if it's allowed, what are the limits?

Huh, all I ever seem to see on Wattpad is One Direction self-insert tedium.

Though I suppose the true horror in that particular sub-genre is After by Anna Todd, the chick who has made several hundred thousand dollars from Fifty Shading her self-insert fap, mostly written on her IPhone while waiting in line at Target. Plus she's gotten the movie rights purchased. Alas, though, it appears the movie is in fact not going to get made.

FWIW, there's a mild amount of milk to be had from the hate directed at her by One Direction fans, though of late even that seems to have died down. Were the movie to actually get made the squee that would emit from the bowels of Tumblr would likely be monumental.

Kind of funny how apparently his fic's now being considered legendary, since I thought something like the Pokémon edgelord dark fic Latias' Journey was legendary, at least in the Pokémon fandom. But I guess if you're listed under TV Tropes' Fan Works folder of "Doorstopper", you're considered "a growing legendary" or whatever at this point. (Also according to that entry, the author apparently stated he hopes to make that story 400 chapters--with chapters being about 40,000 words each. This is the epitome of autism.)

I read somewhere like three hundred chapters of that fan fic, and I only made a few observations.

One: It's dull. The same thing happens again, and again. The plot of the games don't change, just a self insert shows up, does nothing, and then leaves shortly thereafter.
Two: It's uninspired.
Three: It's poorly written. I know what's going to happen in advance, and there is no overarching plot to speak of. Just page after page of filler.

Seems like it's a given that an obvious symptom of autism is having the emotional intelligence and interests of a child, combined with adolescent sexual frustration and virginity; hence apparently there are actual adult men who fap to Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

I skimmed through the latest chapter, and it was completely incomprehensible. I mean, sure, not understanding a story because you haven't read the beginning is one thing, but the chapter is like 90% about the author's shitty OCs. And then there's this beautiful scene.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention; the writer does that thing where instead of actually describing something, they just link to a picture of whatever it is in the text. They apparently think describing a necklace is too hard.

...I'm no expert on either Hebrew or SNK, but are they having a Jewish wedding? In the anime series that's basically a love letter to fascism caused by a cannibal giant apocalypse?

Thanks to TV Tropes, I found the co-authored "Out of the Woods", a yaoi Slenderman/human fic in which Slender I think had a thing for this guy since he was a little boy, and the OC is either a teenager or college student who takes to Slender oddly well. I only got up to chapter four before I went "fuck this" because that was when the two explored with kissing or something or whatever--the fic's kind of a hard read, it was giving me a headache before it got really creepy (all within the first chapter), and I just didn't want to struggle through it anymore.

Oh, and the OC apparently has vitiligo. Gotta check something off the Tumblr "to-do list".
