Nick is in a severe shame spiral right now. His false reality he built up all his life continues to crumble around him. Don't forget drug addiction comes with paranoia, and the fact that he's already an NPD means he also has paranoid ideation. That means he trusts no one, not even his own family, and that mistrust could lead to some very interesting scenarios involving a fat, greasy pedophile who he foolishly trusted wouldn't stab him in the back.
This reminds of his recent livestream with Dick Masterson. Nick seemed really pleased to be there, and always gets this extra arrogance/desire to show off around him. I think it often goes overlooked that Nick started as a Masterson superfan, being heavily active in the Facebook group as per his own statements. The entire reason he started the channel was to continue a discussion he had with other Masterson fans about the lolsuit.
He talked a lot about Aaron on that stream w Dax and Vito, and Aaron’s supposed desperate desire to connect with Dick, texting constantly when high, looking for approval. Masterson himself expressed doubt about this, since he did not have a record of these messages, and Aaron says he messaged him casually like one time, which is what the message Dick read supports. This is so telling, because it’s all projection. That’s Nick’s story, that’s his own admiration of Dick projected onto Aaron. Not only that, it’s another weird wormy attempt to get one over him. Aaron (by Nick’s account, which seems almost completely fabricated) wanted so desperately to collab with Dick, whilst Nick is actually in the room with him telling the story. Aaron messaged him a lot (again, likely a lie), but Nick is the one who got replies and connected them in the first place.
Elissa clipped this segment recently, so for those curious it’s easy to find. Another clear straight up lie by Nick, with Masterson right there getting his phone out and being able to find only one message, which Aaron matched the casual tone Aaron said it had. Nick is weird as fuck. Not funny and weird, just weird.
