Malloy has been a strident critic of Trump and Vice President Mike Pence on LGBT matters. Last month, he blasted the White House when it rescinded guidelines set by the Obama administration directing public schools to let transgender students use the bathroom of their choice.

The White House maintains policies like the North Carolina bathroom bill, which prohibits people from entering bathrooms that do not match the sex on their birth certificates, should be left up to states to determine. Malloy has called Trump’s stance discriminatory.

Wyatt disagreed, saying she supports protections for the LGBT community, but Malloy shouldn’t be meddling into the policies or cultural norms of other states.

“Don’t worry, me and Trump will be fine together,” Wyatt said. “Because I’m transgender, I’m not allowed to support Trump? They need to focus on this state. They’re not the president. They’re not running North Carolina. There’s different moral issues in the South.”

surely there must be a news outlet out there willing to cover Brianna and do basic fact checking on her background, right? I would love nothing more than to see her on record defending her engineering credentials and entrepreneurial record.

I mean, thats basically the entire foundation of her campaign, I'm an engineer and successful business woman, and she is none of those things. Why the media silence?

might be a war room topic, but it seems Kiwis could help bring to certain people's attention that there is a Congressional candidate running a campaign based on wholly fraudulent claims.

Because s/he's a joke candidate. If by some miracle John not only keeps this ridiculous campaign up long enough to actually get to the primary, and then somehow manages to win it (and honestly I don't think he can unless there's some bolt from the blue like Lynch dropping dead the morning of the vote), then the media will take him seriously enough to do some vetting. I imagine they'll also take a closer look at him if he makes a strong showing in the polling leading up to the primary, but possibly not even then, not until he's an actual candidate for the House of Representatives. Until then they're ok with the narrative that he's just a long-suffering Brave Woman in Tech. Once the media eye is on him, though, even their love of that storyline won't protect him much if he keeps up the MOON ROCKS! foolishness and keeps babbling about video games and submoronic pop culture on his Twitter instead of addressing policy.

Yup. The people interviewing her are doing so because it's an easy way for contractors to shit out one of their mandated 10-articles-per-day requirement. They're not doing any serious vetting or interviewing, they're basically writing fluff articles to get paid.

Has she been interviewed by a single real journalist yet except for the lady on Massachusetts Radio that skewered her?

Once people start caring about the election, this will happen.

At the moment, only a Reeing tranny and their legion of twits care.

Lynch is too busy doing his job to pay any attention, and the election is too far away to be an issue.

It's that more than anything else that makes me believe this whole candidacy is a scam (even without knowing anything about John and his numerous scams). Lynch was literally just sworn in to his current term a couple of months ago; no one is seriously thinking about the 2018 Congressional races except as how much of a bellwether they'll be for Trump's first term. There's actual legislative work to be done right now and the adults in the room don't have time for Wuish nonsense.

The best part is going to be how easy it will be for Wu to get shut down when the time comes. It would just take Lynch asking -any- question about their education or employment history, and Wu falls apart. You can't block your competitor on Twitter, ignore their questions, or freak out and attack them when you're running on the party of being the bigger person.

Any one question, and Wu has to either answer it honestly, answer it dishonestly and get fact-checked, or look like a fuckhead. Wu literally has destroyed Wu's chances, assuming this isn't all a "Sorry dropping out, Gamergate threatened to rape me and a my dogs if I kept running."

Christ, the way he talks just radiates "odious narcissist". He makes assumptions about this well-meaning shitlib's statement and attacks the guy for an image that's entirely in John's head. Newsflash, Candidate Wu- these are the exact people you're hoping will vote for you. Topping the cake, the "sin" John suggests he's committed is exactly what John's doing- "I have bad news for you about the way elections work, lol. <3".

I'm really hoping John gets talked up by media sympathisers to the point where he's got to face serious questions and debates. A Tucker Carlson interview would make my day.
