Yeah, this is nothing new. They've been promising this shit for years, and yet congress seems resistant to pass bills that run directly counter to their interests. It's almost as though they like money.

That comment won't come back to bite Wu. She will never, ever admit she's John Flynt, and we're the only organized group who really knows who she is. If that quote started circulating outside the Farms, you can bet Kotaku or Buzzfeed will immediately use it as evidence of a hate campaign against a woman in tech trying to become a woman in government.

If there's one thing I can't stand more than incompetence, it's incompetent people that think they're some kind of intellectual power house.
Similar to how 300lbs hogs will strut around the dancefloor like they're hot shit.
The video below is of a martial arts "master" that couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag, but that had amassed such a cult of personality around him that students would throw themselves onto the floor at the merest twitch of his hand. As a result, he thought he was a god. He eventually was reunited with reality in the form of the fist of an opponent that didn't buy into the bullshit. (warning, is filmed with a potato)
As many others have commented, the slightest probing as to provision of engineering credentials will be met with a crushing vacuum of nothing. 2017 will be that fist for John.

You can tell Wu knows she has no chance to win, else she'd be more cautious in promising people free trips to the moon in a magic rocket. It's easy to be an armchair legislator, it's a lot harder if you ever have to deliver on all your promises.

Doesn't matter if she admits it or not. A name change like that is gonna be on record. You wouldn't even have to specify what her name was when she said it, just that she said it.

John knows there's more than just Silicon Valley right? Many companies today that are in the tech field aren't American and many of the parts we put into things like laptops, PC's consoles and the like have either South Korean or Japanese patents. Not to mention it doesn't matter who's in charge of the US government, they have no control over where companies ship their products from. At best, all the government can do is give intensives to keep production on their soil.

Haha, she's talking to the Daily Mail. It's a right-wing tabloid paper, and its online division has a taste for "freakshow" stories. I guess we'll see if Brianna allows herself to recognise the tone of the article, or whether she thinks Britain's favourite just-this-side-of-clickbait rightwing internet site genuinely wants to give her side of the story.
