Man I'm excited for Trump to raise the tariffs on China to 200%
I don’t even know that it’s necessary.

Like, the regular factory operator in China is already super fucked, and the only products that will come through at current levels will come through at a loss because the CCP is subsidizing, essentially paying us to take their shit

It’s amazing that the CCP propaganda campaign even bothers with the poor old kiwi farms
I miss the halcyon days where people either ignored retards or addressed them directly. Simply accusing people you don't like of being a bot or propagandist without addressing the point is Reddit-tier retardation.

Keep your head in the sand. Trump's going to lose his majority's next year and become a lame duck. He'll do nothing but blame liberals. Then he'll pardon himself at the end of his term because if he doesn't the next Democrat will use the power he's putting into the executive now to fuck him into the dirt. Then they'll inevitably turn it against us when Woke becomes in style again and misgendering actually becomes illegal. But Daddy Trump will be fine sitting in Mar-A-Lago after playing the Boy-King for a few years.

I just like seeing people lose there shit when the number goes up. China is a shithole and nothing is going to change that.

About 40% of U.S. crop farmworkers are undocumented, according to the Agriculture Department. About 1.1 million undocumented people worked in the hospitality industry — hotels and restaurants — about 7.6% of the workforce, in 2023, according to an analysis by the American Immigration Council, a legal group that advocates for immigration.
I'd rather have these people here under Temporary Worker Visas so immigration authorities know where they are, make sure they can't vote, make sure they can't take social services, etc. Rather than what we have now, which is an illegal slave labor force, which does vote, be counted on the census, taking Social Services etc. Especially if this is something we're working to get away from. Changing US demographics takes time.

You went a little too hard towards the end there. Stick around for a while, and you'll learn how to bait properly.

Stop sperging about Israel every fucking day. There a many different threads you could do this, but for some retarded reason you INSIST on shitting up this thread with your retarded slapfights. This applies to both the jews and non jews.

If you see someone being retarded - ignore and report instead of engaging in dozens upon dozens of pages of slapfights.

WTF doomers? You told me that manufacturing wouldn't be coming back to America:

Guardian Bikes Powers American Comeback with Nation's First High-Volume Bicycle Frame Manufacturing Plant

$19 Million Financing Marks Milestone in Revitalizing American Manufacturing and Supply Chain Resilience

SEYMOUR, Ind., April 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Guardian Bikes, the nation's leading direct-to-consumer kids' bike brand, has announced a $19 million financing with JPMorganChase to launch the first large-scale bicycle frame manufacturing operation in the United States.

The new facility—located in Guardian's advanced manufacturing hub in Seymour, Indiana—represents a pivotal step in reshoring a critical industry that was once a cornerstone of American manufacturing but has been nearly entirely offshored for decades.

"This collaboration with JPMorganChase is helping launch a new era of American high-tech manufacturing and working-class job creation," said Brian Riley, CEO of Guardian Bikes. "We're not just building bikes—we're rebuilding an industry. And we're doing it with cutting- edge automation, good-paying local jobs, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and resilience."

"We are proud to play a small part in Guardian's journey to disrupt the bicycle industry," said Zoë Dobbs, Commercial Banker, JPMorganChase Middle Market Banking. "We look forward to the continued transformation of a core childhood pastime."

Reversing a 50-Year Trend of Offshoring

Today, over 97% of all bicycles sold in the U.S. are imported, often subsidized by non- market economies. Guardian's investment begins to reverse that trend, reshoring production and reducing reliance on overseas supply chains and ensuring quality and safety for every Guardian Bikes customer.

The new Seymour facility will be powered by robotic welding, advanced laser-cutting technology, and vertically integrated logistics. It will produce bicycle frames at scale— using domestic steel and aluminum—creating high-skill jobs and breathing life back into the U.S. industrial base.

Guardian's Scaled Vision for the Future

Guardian's move is not just about frames. It's about catalyzing a full-scale domestic bicycle supply chain—from handlebars to hubs—anchored in the Midwest. With distribution centers in California, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and ones planned in Texas and Florida, the company is poised to transform the way bikes are manufactured and delivered to American families.

About Guardian Bikes

Guardian Bikes is the trusted U.S. leader in kids' bicycles, known for its patented SureStop® braking system and uncompromising focus on child safety. As a vertically integrated, direct-to-consumer brand, Guardian is pioneering a new model of domestic manufacturing—faster, safer, and proudly American-made.

WTF doomers? You told me that manufacturing wouldn't be coming back to America:
I don't see why they wouldn't come back to America. The main incentive to manufacture outside of America is because it's cheaper. It's this or stop selling in America and it's mind boggling to me how many people think businesses would choose to do the latter.

the only people who truly think that are the people who do not understand the surrounding economics. everyone else is screeching because their prices are about to go up a small amount, for the horrifying cost of the product actually being worth a shit and lasting longer than the car ride home.

What are you telling me you dont want to buy cheap, slave made clothing and toys covered in lead and could give you cancer?

People are retarded, I've had more than one person tell me giant corporations like Google would pick up and move their HQs to Europe because of racism or some shit like that wouldn't be ridiculously impractical and expensive.

I've seen people genuinely arguing that this is bad just because they'll have to pay Americans a living wage to manufacture this shit, like yeah that's kind of the point??? If you want cheap labor that bad we could always repeal the 13th amendment and put those hobos in San Francisco to good use I guess.

Pentagon jannies on suicide watch.

April 10 (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the termination of IT services contracts, totally valued at $5.1 billion, with companies such as Accenture and Deloitte, a memo showed on Thursday.

The pacts "represent non-essential spending on third party consultants" for services Pentagon employees can peform, Hegseth said in the April 10 memo released by the Pentagon.

"These terminations represent $5.1 billion in wasteful spending ... and nearly $4 billion in estimated savings," Hegseth added.

Only someone who doesn't know about how much the EU hates the tech industry would say that. Tech companies are thinking about closing down their European offices and moving employees to the US due to the EU randomly fining companies billions of dollars for the crime of being non-European.

No American company would ever even think of moving there. All the European tech startups move to the US at the first opportunity (Spotify, Skype, Minecraft, etc.).
