So the boys did a three hour segment on DSPs birthday stream?
I think PPP is taking the break up worse than he claims because watching them spend 15 minutes screaming about a pasta salad & then a turkey burger is worse than anything even the most hardcore detractor has done in years

He's definitely doing the JF/general Quebec accident thing. Canadian French is different from normal French. French Canadian people basically all sound like they're retarded when they speak English.

The DSP content is so fucking dull, I always found him dull as a guest but this new shit is like watching paint dry.

I think the DSP clips get good views on their clip channel so it's popular among their main fanbase, but I find it to be about as entertaining as trying to watch a cog stream, not a Kino Casino segment on cog which is funny but just an actual cog stream.

Ashton pressing Andy on the Switch 2 and Minecraft movie was great. Just friends giving each other shit for gay behavior, grandstanding nonsense just to have a laugh. It was basically a grill Andy segment, but Andy isn't mentally stunted like Phil, so he pushed back in a humorous way even though he 100% ain't beating the Switch 2 pre-order allegations.

Even down to the chat getting in on it, felting the Canadians with "Casino Closed" "Its never been so over" spamming with no response from the boys, the whole segment was a perfect example of everything Phil isn't.

It's honestly the thing that keeps the show entertaining even through segments that might fall a little flat (The longer Phil stuff, etc)
Ashton and Andy have good chemistry because they seem to be pretty good friends. And it translates well into comedy bits. It's such a basic idea that so many Sektur programs miss out on.

Unless you already hated Phil it's just shit content of a guy trying to talk and getting interrupted constantly. The interruptions actually fell in Phil's favor because a person who wasnt Phil could be a reasonable argument against the bank leaks legitimacy or how unreasonable they've being, but because whenever Phil said "may i say something?" Cambian would say yes then interrupt him leaving half of the conversation unsaid.

Oh this is interesting. I didn't realize how varied Quebecoise is from standard Parisian -- makes sense though in comparison with how Spanish varies across the world.

Apologies for shitting up the thread with my linguistic interests.

Edit: So apparently French features a tonic accent rather than stressed, causing the accented syllable to have a higher pitch. Explains a bit more as to the funny pronunciation.

These bits and the PWR segments are the highlights of recent Casino streams in my opinion. Easily blows boring DSP slop out of the water.

As a side note, I'm hoping Lard&Tard will let DSP crying on his birthday stream be his "finale" of sorts. Unless he suddenly implodes there isn't really anything left to say about him, and trying to extract entertainment from DSP's content is like trying to get blood from a stone.

The Phil segments are kind of funny by the sheer amount of times Phil begs for money.
