That's a terrible example, Z-man's pulled out of that deal 5 times over and boldly announced maximalist demands against Russia. In return, nothing bad has happened to him yet.

It's open knowledge at this point that Zelensky is simply trying to wait out the current administration, and will do the absolute bare minimum to keep US support going and no more.

What intellectual property is in a purse? The Gucci logo? Who gives a shit beyond Gucci shareholders?

It's a good thing trademark and patent attorneys didn't exist back when that first caveman discovered fire or the wheel. We'd all be fucked. Human advancement couldn't have happened without humans copying shit others humans did that worked better. Evolution.
You will have your products stolen by the chinese, you will be undercut by their prices on your stolen product, and you will be happy about it or else human advancement will be at stake."

Seeing how so many people value their Chinese consoomerism trash more than anything in the world this past week has been a major black pill and ironically has me feeling like human advancement is at stake. Seeing how people have been reacting to the tariffs makes me feel like the US are a bunch of babies that cry when they don't have a smart phone or tablet in their faces at all times, we don't give a shit that we were being tariffed out the ass by every other country because we have our cheap Chinese toys to keep us happy and now Trump is threatening to give people time out from the chinese crap everyone is throwing a fit.

Lmao, here have another example this time related to tariffs:
The boulder of Ontario cucked out immediately on the energy tariffs he was threatening. Canada is just not a serious country.

It's hard to tell for sure but I think a lot of it is people who aren't worried about the trash itself but the "ripple effects" it will have for the economy. A lot of people still buy into the narrative of price goes up > people working at amazon lose their jobs > now they can't pay rent > apartment owner has less money > he can't send daughter to college etc. That's what happened in 2008, but 2008 was a very different scenario because it was all financial. Most people think things work like that, I know I did at one point.

Many interest groups, likely the chinese themselves, have for many years pushed the idea that without chinese workers keeping everything cheap the whole of society collapses. It was always bullshit but things like that are hard to deprogram.

I think that's just a very vocal subset of people. It's been unavoidable, particularly because I'm a member of a number of gaming communities, soy reddit liberals crying that orange Hitler is going to genocide the brown people and make their toys more expensive. The rest of us have to be quiet or we get accused of starting arguments, etc. but there are plenty of people who know what's up. Trump won the popular vote.

And this worked until the shit from China became so dodgy, you lost faith that what you were buying was even functional or resembled what was advertised and there became a suspicious absence of legitimate, recognizable brand products.

refer to my post about israeli weapons development and technological development
Israeli weapons are terrible meme weapons that I've never seen live up to their claims. My coworkers and I constantly loathe the day we get stuck with a weapons program involving the Israelis and I have yet to meet someone government or contractor side who has had a good experience with Israelis when it comes to weapons. They always have glaring issues in two areas relating to production, effectiveness, suitability, or survivability.

Having to deal with Israeli weapons and their contractors has unironically made me hate Israel more than any internet meme has.

Just to add, the CCP controls China's corporations. They had every reason to push these ideas, and one of the biggest is that if China's corpos don't profit, the CCP doesn't either.
-Now the price is lowered back to something affordable, but the tariffs remain in place. Who's eating the cost of the tariff now? The corpos.
This is a really good point because where China is now, with all its socioeconomic issues, the tariffs caught them at a bad time.

Effective immediately, individuals who engage in antisemitic behavior—whether online or through physical harassment—will be ineligible for U.S. visas or permanent residency. The United States will no longer offer immigration benefits to those who promote or participate in antisemitism.

Jews btfo?
A great way the filter out dirty pedo worshippers, without explicitly saying "no muslims". It also makes it much harder to argue against this new rule.

They did give Counter-Strike the Desert Eagle though.

The best part is, you can explain Trumps strategy in detail multiple times and libtards keep getting caught off-guard every fucking time he does it.
It works every time since libtards (especially elected ones) never actually follow through with their promises. I don't think they even have the frame of mind to understand an elected official keeping campaign promises.
