Fox hasn't actually changed much, for as long as I've remembered they've been badly biased, they covered real news and current events but they did so in a way that left their viewers either the least informed of all the news media consumers or left them misinformed, and it's more that the other news sources have followed them down the rabbit hole to create opposite but equivalently(or sometimes more) misinformed consumers of news-media.

It's easy to see things as a case of "Fox is sort of respectably not bullshit now" when it's really just a case of the other channels cranking the bullshit up to the extent that they're just worse than people remember fox being.

Having said that, from what I've seen of Red Eye over the years, which admittedly is very very little, it's not very representative of fox news at all, it's seemed like a deliberately stupid version of fox news debate and discussion. It would have been nice if the various lefty shows had picked up on her moonrocks episode though because that sort of idiocy is usually reserved for the right wing.

It's either tranny-privilege, refusal to cannibalise "their own"(if Wu can be called that), or them recognising that she's too small-time for their attention, despite it being a pretty great thing for them to potentially run with.

He's still quadupling down on the rock bombardment scenario despite it being comprehensively shown to give worse returns than Rev 60 in terms of efficiency.

He's being even more exceptional than that. Given the incredible storage problems with those old CRT machines -- try to imagine hauling 50 or 60 of those monsters around instead of keeping hundreds of them on a thumbstick -- it's more like he's bitching about films no longer being available on flammable silver nitrate stock.

I just wanted to point out that on the podcast discussiong moon rocks, Wu literally said "This is how the dinosaurs were destroyed"

Wu literally thinks that Space X will dig up a 5 mile wide rock and hold the Earth hostage with it.

Oh this podcast is more full of gems than the Kimberly Diamond Mine. From a roomful of SJW scolds lamenting the way people can't debate anymore, to John completely misstating the right's issue with Elizabeth Warren's Cherokee silliness after bitching about how dishonest the right wing noise machine is, to a supposed Congressional candidate moaning about being "broken" over 18 months before Election Day, it's a cornucopia of juicy stupidity.

EDIT: Forgot to mention: John manages to compare himself not just to Liz Warren, but to Al Gore, Howard Dean, and, for a change of pace, both Clintons.

Jesus Christ, that podcast. From the summary, "As Brianna’s campaign defends against a phony scandal perpetuated by right-wing news..." I gave it a listen, and skipped through the first twenty minutes (an easier task than you might think, they were discussing the Nintendo Switch and Zelda and used one or the other of those names every five seconds). Listen and believe from 23:43, you get the hosts coaxing Brianna into giving her side of the story with no questions asked.

In the first few seconds, she goes from what a normal person would think a joke- "My first space experience was being a shuttle commander at Space Camp" to "This told me I had leadership in my blood".
