I get your point I really do. People tend to be more less concerned about violence, especially of the historical variety, when they're a safe distance away from its potentially negative consequences. They also don't mind it as much if it's their government fighting some foreigners they don't care about. Ignoring the moral aspect of it entirely, just remember while the First Amendment protects many forms of expression such as hate speech it doesn't act as a shield for incitement (speech that is both “directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action”), true threats, fighting words and obscenity.
