Since his first administration and Joepedo's theft of four years I've been saying Trump needs to implement Straw Hat Theory for his second term, and it looks like he might actually do that for this term. Just pick 9-10 countries, give them the best deals, and then either beat the shit out of or have others submit to a light fleecing just to be protected under the US banner.

Why exactly is India on your list? Why is Israel on your list? Jeet/Schlomo issues aside, they both have highly competitive imports in the realm of mass manufacturing/textiles from India, Biomed/high technology from Israel. Wouldn't this be counterproductive?

What benefit does their presence on this list bring given they are just barely fair-weather allies? Or are you including them for... more personal reasons?

Exactly. America has lost its industrial expertise and logistical hubs. There is simple zero qualified people to make new factories viable in America without the help of outsiders.

Korea and Japan offer all of that. Europe has deindustrialized so much they are pretty much useless, especially UK.

A strong alliance between East Asian nations (Taiwan, Japan, South Korea) will accomplish a geopolitical as well as economical goal that trump is looking for.

Every other nations, including Mexico and Canada, can go fuck themselves.

India shouldn't be part of anything. They need to build a fucking laser wall to keep all the jeets in.

China wants to try and pass the US economically. That has been Xi Jinping's strategy since he took power. All these countries capitulating to Trump puts China in a rough position that they sorta put themselves in. Their only options now are to cooperate or try to turn Africa and Central Asia into a dumping ground for consumer goods that no one wants or can afford.

So, Central Asia? China can not defend its shipping lanes and the US Navy can always withdraw protection from Chinese ships.
