Norway and Denmark are unusually pissy because of our poking around Greenland, but Germany is year on year the biggest douchebag in Europe, followed by Belgium as the most zealous douchebag and France as the most pathetic.

It’s really funny how bad France wants to be a global power, and how long they kept the Mirage program going

I think the deal was already made with Ireland a few weeks ago during the St. Patricks Day meeting.. He's just been sitting on it seeing how the rest of the EU acts while he smugly has that in his back pocket

Trump isn't going to put up with the EU's bullshit there any more. The EU may have buying power but they have no military power and that comes into play with trade. Most importantly they don't have a substantial navy.

Since his first administration and Joepedo's theft of four years I've been saying Trump needs to implement Straw Hat Theory for his second term, and it looks like he might actually do that for this term. Just pick 9-10 countries, give them the best deals, and then either beat the shit out of or have others submit to a light fleecing just to be protected under the US banner.

Back in the good old days, De Gaulle made sure to get nukes so they could flip off NATO and/or the US/UK if they ever felt like it. Presumably their plan is now to try and exert enough influence to seize the now empty/formerly American seat of "vague European Military/Geopolitical Hegemony."

I think this would be really funny if it worked because the French are too weak and petty to not fuck it up badly enough to send the member states crawling back to Big Don for mercy. I doubt it will, though. But it's not like the Germans are doing anything useful at this point.
