What criticism is to be had? It was a nonviolent, uber-peaceful protest against a man who has ties to Russia and is a piece of human filth who, not through the people but through the Electoral College (which means we have to go down a rabbit hole explaining gerrymandering and how that skews shit), won the Presidency. And some would say it wasnt even the EC but Russia that helped him win it. A guy who bragged about sexual assault and has a long history of making incredibly disgusting comments about women. The only people who actually criticize it are pretty much just Trump supporters or people who don't understand why women should rightly be afraid for their rights and bodies under his Presidency -- and neither of those are legitimate criticisms of the march.

Oh my fucking god, "fake news! Fake news!" The people crying about fake news are the same types of people who talked about "ethics in gaming journalism!" Talk about circular logic. Milo Yiannopoulos was literally a figurehead of the Gamer Gate movement and he writes for Breitbart. Breitbart is the actual definition of fake news -- the same place that Steven Bannon was long a part of and hired the pro-pedophilia Milo Yiannopoulos. Thats the same Bannon who basically controls Trump right now. That's the same Breitbart that has gotten preferential treatment over other news organizations which have actually been barred from Trump's affairs. So no, the history books don't actually look back on Gamergate as overall right. Because it wasn't.
Yeahhh, see. That's typically how people are assholes/horrible people. They say something that people don't agree with and find asshole-ish. Calling anyone a horrible person is subjective because one can, should they be so inclined, attempt to debate morals all the way down into a never ending hole. I mean, playing devils advocate, one could ask what makes murder wrong. Most people would explain the usual reasons for why its wrong but that can always be met with "yeah, but why is that wrong?" But that's fuckimg stupid. Of course I said he's an horrible persom because he said stuff I disagree with because I think the things he says are horrible. Crazy how that works.
See, I do understand jokes. That's why I can listen to someone like Louis CK cracking racist or sexist jokes because that is someone who understands comedy at a fundamental level. JonTron? Eh, not really. And once again, there's a difference between a joke and simple petulant rage. Jon is the latter.
