Haven't had a chance to look over, but good or bad or nothing here?

The Justice Department has proposed merging the Drug Enforcement Administration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as part of a dramatic shift in the operations of the department’s component agencies and headquarters divisions, according to a memo obtained by The Washington Post.

The memo — sent from the office of Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche this week to top department leaders — also suggested transferring INTERPOL Washington, a part of the Justice Department that coordinates with law enforcement agencies around the world, to the U.S. Marshals Service.

There could also be reductions to the department’s tax enforcement division, with attorneys in the division transferred to U.S. attorneys’ offices across the nation.

The memo requested feedback on the proposals by Wednesday. Many of the proposals involve agencies and offices created by Congress, and it’s unclear how easily some of these changes could be executed without congressional approval.

Justice Department officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss proposals that have not been made public, stressed that they are intended to solicit feedback and are not a done deal.

The Justice Department oversees about a half-dozen component agencies whose leaders report to the attorney general. They include the FBI, ATF, DEA, U.S. Marshals and the Bureau of Prisons.

While there is some overlap in these agencies, each is tasked with carrying out a distinct mission.

The ATF, for example, works with local law enforcement to regulate guns and solve gun crimes The U.S. Marshals have a broad portfolio that includes protecting federal judges and courthouses and arresting suspects in federal crimes. The Bureau of Prisons manages federal prisons, and the DEA combats drug manufacturing and trafficking.

The memo does not detail how the changes would be implemented and what, if any, functions of the affected offices would be eliminated.
Many of the proposals reflect the public priorities of the Trump administration. For example, the memo floats reducing the number of attorneys working on investigations and prosecutions related to the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
On her first day leading the Justice Department, Attorney General Pam Bondi directed her prosecutors to limit the circumstances in which they bring charges under that act.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.

The CEO of NPR had a real real real bad day in front of the Congressional Hearing today.

She pretty much openly lied about...well everything and got caught red handed on it. Really very stupid of her to not think the GoP wouldn't check her Tweets and have them on hand to hang her with.

"Madam CEO have you ever read "The Case for Reparations?"

"Mr Chairman no I have not"

"Hmm how do you explain your tweet on Jan 21 2022 that read you are taking the day off to fully read and appreciate a book called the case for reparations because it's a necessary topic of discussion?"

"....silence"

She is getting roasted alive the dumbass woke cunt. My biggest question is how did the Right lose control to such a group of fucking useless, vapid, mindless cunts? Really some of these "leaders of tomorrow" are so stupid they should be in a group home. This female is running NPR right into the ground and getting paid 200K a year for it.

Some fun facts about her:

DeSantis has argued that loosening restrictions on younger workers is a big part of solution. “Why do we say we need to import foreigners -- even import them illegally --- when teenagers used to work at these resorts, college students should be able to do this stuff,” DeSantis said
The first time a broccoli headed zoomer has to change some fat, geriatric 70 yr old's shit stained bed sheet, they'll have a mental health crisis.

Conservative men don't like breathy narration with modulated voices that sound like a standalone fruit talking about gay indie Vermont maple syrup companies. So the Republicans didn't care about it.
Maybe the first people who ran NPR weren't so bad for the time but they enabled what was to come as fellow travelers and this cycle perpetuated until we reached the point we are at today.

NPR used to be kinda quirky and left-leaning, but not nearly as partisan. Trump buck broke them. All guard rails were removed to try and get Trump, and now they have to face the consequences of their actions.

I don’t know how they find the most soyfaggy sounding men possible to read their stories. It’s like they try to sound as gay and unsure as possible.

it's continuing Eleanor's story from 2
That's discouraging. Bioshock thrives the most when it has fresh characters and settings. Rehashing what we already had is a great way to introduce lazy writing and valuing callbacks over substance (like what happened to Marvel and Star Wars: they cared more about cameos than the actual plot).
Florida Considers Easing Child Labor Laws To Make Up For Fewer Illegal Workers
Or you could just, you know, hire normal legal adults for once.

I used to listen to them through the obeme administration, they were good for standard American English diction, and fun stuff like Car Talk
one debate that stood out to me was between two economists about if the rich should be taxed heavily, or the other side of the argument, the rich should be taxed REALLY FUCKING CRAZY heavily

also I misremembered The Onion but was close

As I recall, he was forced out because he was endorsing Craftsman tools for Sears and that somehow went against the PBS ethos. Faggots.
Craftsman came later, it was because he took an outside endorsement for Rickel Home Centers, which caused Home Depot and Weyerhaeuser to pull their support.

Think of the people who have watched/listened to them for the past 10 years. Seeing what we've all been seeing, especially the past two years, these people have been whipped so hard into a frenzy that it's likely to be unable to be turned around anytime soon. Like look at how vicious they get foaming at the mouth.

The point was something soft-spoken and inoffensive that you could put on as background noise. Many offices and waiting rooms would have NPR going for that reason. NPR didn't do this insane partisan stuff in the 2000's. People who actually listened to NPR at the time were considered pretentious by the rest of the world, but that's it. What happened is that Trump won and everything kicked into overdrive.

Commie retards are obsessed with top-down authority and manufacturing consent, so they targeted NPR to make it seem like all the insane shit they said about Trump was legitimate and reasonable. Now we're finding out what everyone already knew back in 2016: they're partisan assholes who were getting money from Trump's political opponent who didn't even put their own money into it, but used taxpayer money instead.

they also put in a bunch of diversity hire types who make Diane Rehm sound like Gary Owens

The real truth, according to an interview he gave in the 90s, is that PBS was ok with the Craftsman endorsement, but they wanted a cut of his fee for it on top of the tools being provided to the production for free when it was time for a new contract to be negotiated. Bob rightly said "Fuck that, and fuck you, too" and he walked.

Where the fuck do you find normal adults in Florida?

Excuse me if I'm retreading ground here but do not understand how people are still trying to frame the signal shit as some sort of monstrous opsec failure for Trump personally. Like I get people fucking hate him on principle, sure go ahead and just be mad. But the real issue seems to that this was some staffer who added a journo to the chat on a secured device for the express purpose of manufacturing a 'leak' and damaging the credibility of the administration/cabinet. We even know who the staffer that's responsible for adding mr.burg to the group is and I haven't heard of any punishment falling on him.

The white house employs 1700+ people from administrative staff to groundskeeping and many are and have been employed there since Obama or earlier. It's no surprise that unless you fired literally everyone that you'd have some kind of rats running around doing things like this, and we have other examples of this same thing happening inside the FBI, CIA and DoD just weeks ago. If this situation had happened under Bush jr. or Obama it would have been framed as a a failure of the staff and them being treasonous, spiteful retards but because it's happening on orange Hitler's watch it's all his fault. How is it unreasonable to expect the fucking pencil jockey admins to not try to fuck with you given the chance.
On top of all this, Trump actually admitted it was a mistake and apologized about it. Can you imagine a Democrat ever doing that?

Honestly, if it means less kids on Tik Tok and doing retarted things for clout then is this really a bad thing?
Honestly if kids had the opportunity to start doing simple tasks at work shops or being a gopher for field work it would have them be more active and familiar with the trades so by the time they graduate high school they could jump straight into an apprenticeship and start a career, as opposed to the current thing where kids are expected to go to college or university and not learn how to do real work until they're like 25 or something.

He also apparently has no car insurance, since your insurance card will have your name and address on it too
it'll be insured to his business with him as a driver. Since he can't use the utility bills its doubtful he'll be able to use the insurance either. I don't see why he can't turn in a 1040 unless he's dumb enough to to expense everything through the the business.

Unlike previous calls for simply voter ID, which I don't think would prevent anybody from voting, I could see this doing so. Many people wont have their birth certificate to hand and many Americans, I am told, do not have a passport.

In Bongland you don't need proof of citizenship because there is an electoral role and you wont (shouldn't) be on the polling station's list if you're not entitled to vote. So all you need is proof of ID so they can tick you off on their list. I presume in the USA they either don't have lists at polling stations or the idea is that you can go to any polling station rather than your local one?
Each and every state is different. But it's also incredibly common that the the list of eligible voters is not accurate. People move to other states and the original state doesn't remove them, for example, allowing assholes who fled California to try and flip Arizona to still vote in California. There's no intra-state system that keeps track of everyone, except maybe the IRS, which isn't allowed to be used to keep voter rolls for some strange reason.

And again, this is because one side benefits massively from cheating. But also because they really really don't want us keeping track of people because we might suddenly start noticing illegals and the like.

It doesn't make sense because you're not modeling their minds accurately. You're trying to figure out their reasoning/principles when they are not operating on those things.

It's simply an attack vector, nothing else matters.
It's religious thinking, to quote a youtuber. They have a conclusion and work backwards from there. Facts? Logic? Reasoning? Those don't work to get them away from their conclusions because that's not how they got to the conclusions in the first place. The conclusion never changes, they just make up more and more batshit moon logic to justify what they already believe in. Trump is stupid but he's also a Machiavellian genius who is constantly plotting and requires 24x7 hashtag-resist fighting against lest he destroy everything they've worked on since FDR.

The two concepts at play here are post-modernism -- marxism as religion -- and marxist demoralization. It's how these idiots can survive with cognitive dissonance firing off 24x7, it's how these idiots can ignore reality up to and including when it's literally some immigrant raping their children to death, it's how these idiots can be go go go go go go go GO political warriors 24x7 without getting exhausted. They're literally undergoing religious fervor and anyone not a far leftist is a heathen or worse, a heretic.

There's a reason why one of the first trades they went after was our mental health industry. It's not a joke to suggest that these people are in a cult. They definitely use some cult tactics, such as "Phobia Indoctrination" to make sure vulnerable groups are terrified of ever even talking to the outgroup.
