Crossposting from the Fishtank thread that Burt recently streamed his phone call with Dellywave (stream stars participant), airing his grievances related to Fishtank. He complained about his tutor business being fucked with and forced to resign from his volunteer firefighter position due to being a liability after someone sent his clips to his boss. He somehow blames the Farms for it.

So Burt was on a lengthy phone call with Dellywave, airing various grievances related to Fishtank. These range from still being confused about what it is about and it's audience, how it's humiliating for him to be seen as a weak little bitch (and clipped crying), having his tutor business basically fucked since he got reported to CC companies and having been told to resign from his volunteer firefighter position due to being a liability (someone sent "problematic" clips to his boss, they previously knew about his gay/escort shit and that itself was never a problem).

He is still talking to others on the phone currently, probably the "realest" Burt we've gotten. (Unless this was all said somewhere before and I just missed it since I don't follow his stuff.)

I don't believe this has been mentioned in this thread or any other thread, on Burt's LinkedIn he lists "Founder and CEO" of an organization called Newark Cares. Newark Cares seems to be a well established network for a larger nonprofit organization called Newark Trust.

In an article featured here: https://www.nj.com/jeffersonawardsnewjersey/2016/06/overcoming_insurmountable_obst.html there's a section that says "Part of Appouh's work includes founding the non-profit organization, Newark Cares"

The website for the actual Newark Cares doesn't seem to mention Burt at all so it's strange that he's credited as the founder. I've also found this Youtube video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUuugUAW1H4, which directs people to www.newarkcares.com to donate. The link is sadly dead.

Additionally, he also posted a video of other texts. Probably most important of note: Burt claims he is filing for bankruptcy because he claims his personal business and finances have been ruined as a result of going on the show. When he asked Bill Ottman for the remaining prize money, Bill told him to just stream on the website instead.

The entire concept of Burt working at a fire station is both fucking hilarious (like sitcom level funny) and also horrifying. Imagine getting pulled out of a flaming car and Burt starts asking you your shoe size all bricked up.

I used to feel bad for Burt but he is so defensive about this that it makes me wonder if he really isn’t a MENSA member?

Most super smart people don’t need to brag or prove anything because their intelligence is evident by their accomplishments.

Also, Burt has a history of lying or embellishing his expertise. Remember his business cards on s3 that said he was a professional boxer or something ? There were a few other things he said he was but they weren’t true.

Burt's academic accomplishments are pretty well documented, some even in this thread. The big thing to remember about Burt is he is genuinely mentally ill, so comparing him to a neurotypical person of a similar IQ isn't really a good benchmark.

I know that is easily proven and I do believe he is a smart dude. I have seen Burt’s academic accomplishments and they are definitely real.

However, Burt literally lied on his business cards about a bunch of things, which is sketchy. I think he also said he was a supplement expert (he had all those pills and supplements/vitamins he brought and shared in s3). I don’t think he had any real training for that either.

Oh well, Burt is quite the character and that’s why people love him.
