Buddy sometimes not everyone can make it to the youtube scene, and you should maybe stick to just editing livestreams and videos rather than branch out yourself.
Like holy shit the highlights dickrider has the personality of a wet paper towel and is so boring. Like what can they offer that no one else has? Like I at least expected half-hearted film reviews, at least that would be more entertaining than another dime-a-dozen streamer.
thats been the issue though with ""editors"" (and jannies) at an ever increasing rate, cringe to quote a game but theres a line in brutal legend talking about roadies and basically how it's their job to just make sure all the shit just works and to never be be seen or get in the way. that's how they do a good job, by not realizing there's anyone ever there, *but* shit just working. for people like man sir's start, they're just a fan reuploading content at most harsh. being nice they're a editor that does the equivalent of sucking dick for cock. they may not even do a particularly good job, just when people started typing in "yms stream" or whatever, and then clicked on something near the top that just happened to be yms highlights, then that becomes the easier to click therefore more popular channel below yms. it doesn't matter if his editing is good decent or shit, all that matters is he's near the top of the list. none of the content is his own, people do not come for, or care about yms highlights beyond posting diet yms streams. might even have just thought it was yms doing "greatest hits" shit. at best a similar channel should post comments (now community updates) very impersonal like ie "issues, new vid will be delayed" etc. maybe leaked power leveling like saying you have family issues or whatever.
instead people like man sir get the like 14 year old with a yt channel syndrome, where say they reupload a cd, get shit tons of views, and that becomes >many views >popular >im popular, when people do not give a fuck about you they just wanted to listen to nickleback or whatever tf. that anonymity isn't a bad thing though, especially when people (like man sir) are just fucked in the head and you could drive them to post breakup mental state by saying they have a man's voice. they would get zero negative attention by just shutting the fuck up, but they have to be public, have to jam in editors notes, have to make a troon furry vtube avatar with tig ole bitties, have to make political statements. they are not a fan upload channel, they are explicitly OLIVIAMANCER, with that being in the description directly under yms' pic. unless im mistaken another similar thing is with one of jerma985's main fan archives or whatever, guy that posts shit akin to "bigots NOT allowed". same with jannies, when their job is to go into the metaphorical office building, clean up the shit, push out people blatantly doing illegal shit, and shut the fuck up, but instead they have to ban wrongthink and become titled and revered like fuckin medieval lords.
