What would Cobes look like now if he had fallen in with a different crowd instead of the goths? I'm imagining a redneck Cobes with a mouthful of dip, beer in hand, receding mullet, taking aim at a buck. He will miss, but that's just how it works sometimes toobs.

It amazes me that people give any weight to any of his opinions, especially political. This man is not a thinker of even the most tepid sort.

He wouldn't be as funny as he is. He'd just be the same as a lot of those guys. Part of why Cobes is so funny and has been since day 1 is his specific goth-ness. when he started years ago he was like 15 years late for the goth wave he was on, and he was way too early for the modern sad boy goth thing.

He has always existed as this odd amalgamation of what some guy decided goth was from a mixture of TV, movies and album covers.

I do wish he hadn't become such a recluse in recent years though I really miss the colorful cast of characters we used to have and the adventures around town. even if he was still drinking himself to death it would be better if he was doing it out and about with random weirdos. Maybe he thinks he's like Edward Scissorhands never leaving his lair?

I don't know why people think his YouTube getting banned would cause him to quit all together. The minute his YouTube gets banned he is just going to make another one and it will be business as usual. Also even if he didn't Courtney would immediately get him set up on another website like Rumble. I think people underestimate just how much off-screen contact he has with Courtney specifically. She is in contact with him on a weekly, if not daily, basis. I'd assume he also has quite a bit of contact with a select few from her discord as well.

He is not really goth in any way, he just wears black, I think it might be the funniest thing about him is that being goth is such a big part of who he sees himself as a person and the only goth stuff he does is wear black, paint nails and rock out to ozzy.

He igoth as envisooned by a small town Christian mom. That is to say, she saw Marilyn Manson be spooky ooky on a morning talk show, the word goth was used at some way, and she extrapolated it to all youths who wear all black, dye their hair black, maybe wear eyeliner, and listen to music heavier than a Glenn Campbell record.

Josh probably goverheard one of these folks (or heard a scare speech at church or from Clint, who has the urge to be artsy but no sense of real danger) and his ODD kicked in.
 
The selective pearl clutching his alogs do is infuriating. It's always been an alog tactic ever since the days of CWC and it's a surefire way to tell if someone is trollshielding (they always have skeletons in their closets). And as others have pointed out, they never go after people in Cobra's orbit who have said and done far worse things.

I'm so sick of double standards in trole relations, dood.
