I can't think of a single instance of Pat saying "my wife is beautiful, stalker." or the like but he does have a massive backlog of tweets. I can only ever think of "I have a second, better wife" and "I have ready access to my wife's vagina." I don't know if he ever complimented her once in defiance of the pests or if he even says that to her for any reason. At best they probably do a compulsory kiss good night and then sleep in separate beds (her the actual bed, he the fart couch).
I would feel bad but she's complicit in this.
I agree she is complicit and I strongly doubt that his shitty fat demeanor is a new thing, so she probably settled for him for whatever reasons.

Whether she is just one of those women who sticks with an abusive guy because of some lack of self worth or conviction that she deserves such a man, or if she is socially retarded and just thinks his behavior is normal for a couple it’s her life and business.
She could even be pretty aware of the full situation but so far has stuck to a “stand by your man” mindset.
But people do change grow and learn.
There are photos of them socializing and at that convention in Scotland where she looks a lot more animated and happier while speaking to other people so maybe she has started listening to people other than Piggy.
Personally if I had a female relative or friend who was with a guy like Patrick, I would say what I could to hopefully influence her to think about her relationship.
Especially if it was emerging that this husband was up to another lawsuit after humiliating himself and generating debt with an odd sounding one.
Especially if this lawsuit sounded like it had a good chance of not just blowing back again financially, but also making them powerful enemies.
Obviously the police won’t go and give Fatrick regular kickings or arrest Niki and throw her in the drunk tank with mentally unstable junkie prostitutes because they see her drink a kombucha, but I can see them getting an increase in parking tickets, maybe corner kids dealing outside their house because the police let them know that they can do it there and not get busted.
The general ways a police department could make life difficult for a couple who tried to fuck with them and get a payday.
Obviously I don’t know her in real life and she isn’t constantly rage tweeting like him, but I kind of get the feeling she is easily influenced by boyfriends and might not have the full critical thinking skills to realize Patrick is a fucking liability.
And maybe now she is finally starting to listen to concerns from friends or family?
It sounds a bit like Patrick’s family kind of expect his crazy feuds and odd behavior, probably he was always basically getting into spats and problems with other children and convinced that they were bullying him for no reason.
So to them, various Pat-ery is just background noise.
But Niki’s family might be now starting to get through to her.
