Middle aged man malds that someone else dare questions the sexual preferences of a fictional minor
View attachment 7021806
As Poppy hops from community to community, degenerate fandom to degenerate fandom, there is but one constant: Poppy's going to walk in and utter the weirdest shit these people have ever heard.

In an alternate universe, where Poppy is born in the south, stays at a blue collar job, and never transitions:

"Look here bud, I've been around the block a bit. 50 years young. Divorced twice, widowed thrice. And let me tell you, when I look at SpongeBob and I look at Squidward, I just know that Spongebob's the big spoon. I know it, you know it, and everyone on the SpongeBob Squarepants Wiki knows it. Get good, and God bless your heart, son."

I didn’t notice this until now but Poppy refers to himself as a former widow. Did he resurrect his ex wife?
From a legal standpoint, you are no longer a widow if you re-marry. So either Poppy's bullshitting, or ZP tied the knot while we weren't looking.

Other than that, the normal reason for saying "former widow" would be that Poppy's emotionally moved on after 20+ years and 8 of those years of having another long term partner, and I wouldn't fault him if he just chooses not to identify as a widow anymore... but Poppy doesn't have normal reasons for doing things, and I fear what his real explanation is.

Gonna need @Big Beefus shoop magic to envision Poppy as Frankenstein or Reanimator. Or Dr Frank N Furter perhaps more apt.
Eta: I'm spitballin' here but maybe we can have Zena as Frankenstein's monster or the Bride but more zombie like and instead of shouting "braiiiiiins" she just continously says "migraiiiiiiiiines".

This person is confused about why Poppy is this animated about this sort of thing. They agree with her.

Poppy you’re coming off extremely weird. Maybe tone it down?

The most feminine thing about Poppy might be how much of a shipper he is; then again, the number of agp men who are way too into shipping culture and end up trooning out is fairly high (thinking about the "you might be a transbian" guy)

But this is a clear-cut example of shipping culture: thinking your headcanon is better than anyone else's, and going to twitter (or in this case, bluesky) to argue with them about it, because YOU know better than everyone else. Poppy can't help but use the argument from authority fallacy. Well, he has a body count in the double digits, so OBVIOUSLY he knows better than you do! Grow up, Poppy. This is a fictional minor. Stop thinking you know better about the sex life of a fictional minor than anyone else.

My take is how shitty he was and still is to Spawn.

Favoring a revolving door of gross sex partners over your own child, especially someone as disgusting as Zena.

The line about being more upset about potentially losing your gofundme money because you might get a boner looking at nudes in a public versus your kid escaping.

The ultimate was the my discord kids (mentally ill adults larping as children) have been better children in the last six months than my own kid has been in the last ten years line.

Lily Orchard apologizes to Poppy among others. But Not Zena, in her latest video. Using her government name of Jessica. A name she doesn’t go by.

While I have sympathy for folks in medical debt, it’s impossible to have it for Poppy, given the amount of money being spent on furry porn.

Seeing the question I am about to ask, it goes without saying I am not from the US, but is paying 800 dollars a month normal? What does "insurance premium" entail? I am aware the US healthcare being a shithole is a massive meme, but surely paying 800$ a month for insurance is not normal, is it?

average insurance premium per month per employed reasonably healthy adult male is around $450/month. women have slightly more expensive premiums, children slightly more still, although often there are various combined "family" discounts if everyone is on the same plan. this assumes you are employed and part of your employment benefits package has a healthcare option which typically splits the cost with the employer significantly (often above 60%, which turns $450/mo into something like $150 or under depending on plan options).

when i was a police officer my premium through the state was $17/mo plus another $8 for dental and $6 vision. a special additional was $4 for hearing. in the private sector i pay $158/mo personally, with my business paying $198/mo. the $158/mo includes dental and vision as part of the same plan, and additional immediate family members area flat $25 each to be included with the same options as the employee. co-pay and drug costs are usually under $100 per year, although some drugs can be very expensive and even with a significant discount you're still paying a lot per month for something like diabetes or t-cell lymphoma, however these aren't typical for the general population.

if you aren't employed or part of a group plan of some kind, it can get prohibitively expensive, more so with chronic conditions. generally speaking, while healthcare in the US has a higher per-person average cost since it isn't nationalized, the cost itself varies wildly from $10/mo to $10,000/mo. ironically the effort with "obamacare" to have a healthplace market has in some cases made healthcare more accessible yet also more expensive since insurance banks on paying out less cash than taking in as premiums. for a while there was also a penalty if you were uninsured to the tune of some $700+ (in california this is $900 per adult) which is assessed during tax filing. the federal penalty was removed in 2018, but some states still impose one which is used to pay for costs assumed by the state against uninsured people not paying their "fair share" of healthcare costs.

It depends on coverage and plan - like above which has way more information than I can give - I just know bcbs and their plans are like 400-1k depending on type of plan without a job paying into it. Depending on how they sort it, it's completely possible for it to go that high, sure, but I'm more eyeing all the surgery and the risk Poppers is for the reason it going up. Sure, the physical is provided every year, but it's just to snitch on you really, so their health might have taken a turn for the worst *since* the surgery - though no idea tbh. Honestly, their axe wound probably shot it straight into the stratosphere for what they need.

Insurance in certain populous areas/states also could be higher as well.

I normally don't wish any evils of the insurance or expensive medications on anyone who just ended up with shit like cancer but they did this to themselves and I have absolutely no sympathy.
