Though there hasn't been quite a lot of prominence in the Touhou Project for a while now, Twitter/𝕏 remains to be one of the few homes for it now that 4chan declined in its user base and new competitors come in to take its place. Especially once COVID arrived and locked everyone in, it gave newcomers more time to dive into the franchise while shaking things up within the fanbase itself.
This thread will focusing on the Western portion, where said rookies show up to bring new life into this aging series. Unfortunately, it isn't always going to be the best kind we wish integrated with the community. I will be showing one of those spergs, who appeared recently on the grand scheme of things, but is recognizable enough in the small space that those who are in the scene will know.

Meet Blake Tait, aka "Blake Izayoi"
Blake Izayoi (Powerword: Blake Tait) is a mini Xitter e-celeb from Canada who made his mark in the Western section of the Touhou fandom for being a "wholesome" dude who really loves a fictional maid with a time-stopping ability, posts a lot of Fumo plushie photos on his accounts, begs for money and free items, makes simple video games, takes joy in virtue signaling towards the LGBT+ groups of said fandom, and finally, dislikes the chuds and other detractors who say mean things to him, his friends, and followers.

In Spring of 2024, our own Touhou Community Watch thread, though very chill in user traffic, is a place where Kiwis come to share and discuss various subjects about the series. Ranging from favorite games, music, and most importantly, our observations within the community itself. Further into the Iceberg
As shown earlier, most of Blake's public activity can be found on Xitter, Bluesky, and his Discord, where anything pertaining to him can be seen for everyone's viewing. Everyday is spent posting every little thing about himself, what he's doing, handing out encouraging words to his followers of children and adult children, and relating all these conversations back to Touhou.
There's some posts that is nothing but blogposting, motivation, and getting artists to draw things for free...
Some that involve getting into slap fights with other people. (Though he has ceased to do this activity often in recent times)
