I'm legit blown away that they gave him a plea deal. For how high-profile some of this was, and the endless news stories of "A NEW TREND ONLINE, IT'S CALLED SWATTING AND IT HAS DEADLY CONSEQUENCES" I would expect them to nail this kid to the wall. Stack up 300+ counts of attempted murder, conspiracy, give him like 3 life sentences with no parole. Make a total example out of him, considering that's basically all they can do to stop swatting. If you're a piece of shit and you know that even IF they catch you for swatting you're likely just getting like a year in jail, is that even much of a deterrent?
