This shit is fucking baffling to me, in your scenario YOU are the one advocating for making them "live out their mental illness" by saying that playing into their delusions is somehow the best way to resolve them. No you fuckin moron, the best way to help someone like this is to actually put the effort in to divorce the person from their delusional state forced on them by their mother instead of pushing for the people around them to accept and reinforce it. It's the harder option, and requires more than just giving them pills, but it's better than just prolonging the issue instead of giving them "a solution".

Sounds like a knock-off of the John Money story, which troons use to justify their belief that gender is different from sex. The story may be true—we’ve seen mothers do this shit before—but it in no way proves that being transgender is any more real than demonic possession is in Argentina. It's not REALLY the harder option, it's just harder for therapists in the short term to try to work on someone's delusions instead of just shooting them up with drugs. Overall, it's much, much harder to convince the rest of humanity that they can and should lie about what their eyes tell them in order that other people not be 'distressed'. I'm gonna go on a stretch and say that this isn't their Pinterest account. Pinterest is mainly a fashion inspo site (at least that's how many women use it) as well as heckin cute animal memes reposted off of Reddit, so the connection solely based off of the pfp and liking hairstyles seems flimsy.

Yeah, we do have a solution: don’t be trans, even from the most pragmatic of assessments it doesn’t work. The trannies don’t seem to become happier (& the limited, suppressed research data bears out that they are no happier after trooning out), they don’t “pass” no matter what they say or think, and the hormones and SRS are notably dangerous. What troons want is unattainable - they might as well try to “transition” to become elves and centaurs.
