Yes, pretty much everyone who isn't a part of groomden hated the inventory changes, I mostly miss being able to have multiple inventory screens open. the entire "its been having issues for 4 years" is a a stupid argument, the current inventory system has many issues too and it was a major turn off for 2 of my friends who wanted to play ss14.
It's frustrating because while it takes a little learning, SS13's inventory system is great.
It was originally meant to be just slot based because item sizes were quite arbitrary and unintuitive. This was kept as now items can only be a few different sizes now.
That's the kiwi SS13 server thread, not the SS13 discussion thread. It was used for SS13/SS14 discussion only because the previous kiwistation SS13 thread, also used for general SS13/SS14 discussion was dead. Does it say "Space Station 14" in the title? No, it's "Space Station 13 and its successors" (though honestly it should be just "Space Station 13 and Space Station 14", Unity Station and the various 3D remakes are only a footnote) This is the SS13/SS14 discussion thread. I see no reason separating SS13 and SS14 into their own threads when there's so much overlap, and they're basically the same games (except one is somehow worse and more troonified)

This is a Prospering Grounds thread for lolcows. This thread wouldn't be here unless it was. The other SS13 thread is in the Off Topic board for video games, which in my opinion, makes it the place to talk about the game. That may not be the best thread, but its not the intent of this thread either. This entire thread was made so people had a place to talk about SS13 lolcows and not have the other thread be too cluttered. Also the "and it's successors" part in the title covers SS14.

Not exactly, this forum was made specifically so that discussion of riveria server (the original purpose of that thread) wouldn't get clogged up by drama posts. It's even mentioned in both of the ops for both threads.
There was another SS13 thread too that has discussion that also had people posting lolcow stuff in. I should have linked instead of the Riviera one. My point still stands but I don't want to derail the thread splitting hairs. I just wanted to say there are other dedicated SS13 discussion threads.

As far as I see it:
"This sucks" usually leads to "Why is this the way it is" which leads to "Who made it like this and why" which more often than not leads to tea.
PJB is another massive meltdown or two away from torpedoing the entire project and/or killing himself. It's truly a sight to behold that one of the most skilled SS13 programmers has fallen so far down the insanity hole that he has lost any and all rationality.
I've talked with peptide back when I was active in parkstation and later nuclear 14, most of his messages are related to contributing or fixing the server, Groomden is so fucking retarded they let one of the most inoffensive guys on the community get fucked over for no reason other than lame internet drama. Basically imagine trying to have a hobby and make games while there's a petty tranny yelling schizo shit in your ears for the entire time and that's how peptide's been for the past years.
