It wasn't a typo, It took years of the pests hammering him about it for him to change. Only recently has he spelt it correctly. 140 IQ, decade long gym goer, marathon runner, martial artist had no idea that the term was short for pectoral as he had only ever heard it referenced. Just like his consistent misspelling of LOTR character names shows he has only ever watched the movies.

Maybe the reason fatrick thinks he could bench 250 is because he's doing 1/16th reps. I mean, he's so fat that full ROM for him is already a 1/16th rep so technically that would be a 1/256th rep.

I doubt I could repeat this now, 30 years later, but in High School I played football, and everyone on the team my fresh/sophomore and junior year could at least do 5 reps of 235. Patrick never cracked 205, not in his life.

He describes Shock and Awe close enough for him but you can tell he thinks it means random attacks all over the place rather than something more like blotting out the sun with arrows.

Iraq probably wasn't an example of Shock and Awe either despite what the politicians boasted. The US wound up driving past most of the Iraqi military rather than engaging it and leaving craters.
