It's interesting that you focus on a Scofield interpretation of Christianity using "Judeo-Christian". Judaism is pretty alien to the theology Christianity but especially its practical application, that goes double for Judaism as it is known today.

If anything, the Israel of Jesus serves little more than a setting. You focus as much on the OT as the worst of the Scofield believers, just where they fawn over it, you seethe over it.
