Neither do I. But the behavior is worth nothing, I'm sure AL isn't the only person Birdie has done this with, just one of the only ones to come foward about it.
The takeaway is that Birdie takes advantage of the mentally ill, and it's especially easy if they're unsupervised children or people who idolize her (with some overlap.) This is grooming at the worst and textbook manipulation at its best. It's shitty no matter which way you slice it.
Birdie can't even really use the "it's old Birdie drama" excuse for this because it's decently recent.
I wouldn't even necessarily call AL a victim but these screenshots really do encapsulate Birdie's entire schtick. She doesn't care about her friend's well beings, especially if the opposite is something she can exploit or ogle at; Birdie is selfish. If AL hadve done something especially damaging and ended up needing medical help, there is no doubt in my mind that Birdie wouldn't have felt the slightest amount of guilt.
Who knows, though. Maybe she can Evil BPD autism her way out of this too

"Making plans for if we met up to cut each other." That was actually very concerning for me. If someone wants to do that with you face to face and you only know each other online, DON'T. That person could kill you. I don't care about chance. I'm not gambling with anyone carrying a blade.

At least this person is trying to improve unlike Birdie. God, even Birdie's friends are leaving her. That speaks volumes on her behavior towards them.

While I do have empathy for people going through mental illness and self-harm and I'm aware that they do it for reasons that require help and support from others and themselves, I cannot fathom how one can feel pleasure when being cut. I accidentally nick myself a lot and it's no fun dealing with the pain and blood.
 
i don’t think it’s really sensed as a “pleasure”, more of a relief. the physical pain serves to distract from the mental. birdie romanticizes and glorifies it to a disturbing degree though.

it was kinda funny how fast al switched up immediately
if birdie DOES make a response, however shit it may be, i hope they show screenshots of al enabling behaviour because i know al definitely left out some probably more unfavourable screenshots of themself and only opted to show the ones that birdie was pushing
(not that i don’t think birdie also was very much in the wrong, but it’s just about impossible to convince me that al, out of all people, was “just another victim”)

also, victims being enabled don’t tend to flip like a coin the minute bad stuff comes out about their enablers, especially since al was most definitely already aware of these things. al was compliant with birdie’s behaviour, but left immediately because she was under hot water
 
yknow, al doesn't seem innocent here at all. this seems like consensual bloodplay (or whatever the fuck it's called) between two adults. they both did this to each other. obviously i dont agree with it either way, but al seemed aware of the self harm fetish birdie has and played into it. both of them are adults, both played into it, both seemed to enjoy it. does this negate the fact both of them are mentally ill and bad people? no, but this seems like it was all consensual at least, not like what al is trying to portray
