The varied replies on twitter got me thinking about how retarded the average person is. I don't think he's grifting, he could've started an explicitely right wing grift ages ago. I think he's genuinely pissed at Musk wanting to replace people with retarded jeets but he also knows that since we won we have far more power and more of a say then before the election. Musk cannot censor the same way left wing outlets have and come out unscathed.

At the end of fishtank Sam asked Luke if he wanted to do a "right wing grift show" with him ("with anamorphic lenses n sheeeit" -Sam).

Recently on stream Luke said that's he's been hired by Sam and is moving to Rhode island but made it sound like he is gonna be Sam's gopher instead of co-host.

It was half a joke by me.

Satire/commentary. Do you not understand his gimmick? None of this is exactly a serious post beyond the bits of truths in the satire hence why he mentions streamers he will never watch. Sam does this sort of shit when he has free time between projects. He's done this before with major backlash events like BLM rioters. Though this one is a lot sooner. I don't really feel like pulling back the wizard of Oz's curtain 24/7, magicians secrets for tourists so I'll just say this was done for his (newer) audience because he mostly knows his (newer) audience well. He gets a laugh out of making this shit as much as most of his fans do. Also he is the more political of the old crew which got him into trouble with projects like world peace so after that he doubled down on his political shit for better and for worse. MDE will never be what it once was inherently because of this, their initial limitations and simplicity gave them more to work with which is why Sam can even make this shit in the first place and why he got successful, is what I would say if we were getting great MDE content. No, we are not really it was all a monkey paw. Sam's shenanigans blew up with Fishtank, and while the idea may have been alright it has created a fissure in priorities. All of their success was not from genuine :artistic" risks besides a few aspects from fishtank when it first went live and now they will milk it dry. Now that he has all the money, and cobbled together the old crew precisely because he can pay them (Nick literally only stuck around for PGL because of money), they're holding back what fans gathered around for to appease the types of people they would have made fun of ages ago and general youtube tourists. Season 2 of world peace was announced in late 2022. It is now near 2025. I have my hopes that it will be a great continuation but I have my doubts due to the way their routine changed. Think of Sam Hyde as a Tim Heidecker imitator but more spergy and with other flaws that murdered his comedy act, quite literally Sam's old guests/friends carried him to his heights and none of it would be so beloved without Charls Caroll, Nick, Andrew Ruse, and a one more easily forgotten to the point where he isn't even named probably since he dipped earlier on, Kurush Bakhtiari. I think I summarized it a little hope that helps.
