This got me thinking on why it's women in that age group who tend to be so resilient to types like Pat. I've got a few in my own family and a few I work with who are a lot like Leslie, and in that age group. Is it because they had to deal with real misogyny when they were younger? Fatrick S. Bitchtitson's petty jabs and impotent threats are probably meaningless compared to what they heard/saw up until the early 2000s, going by the creepy/disgusting stories the older women at my workplace tell us.

I’ve met a few women who can do it younger, but it really seems to come from no longer giving a shit combined with confidence from having seen all the shit before and security from being established in life.

If you dig deep into female psychology you can probably get more details and reasons, but it’s most commonly noticed in 50s/60s.

So noticeable that a woman who has NOT progressed towards it by that age is easy to spot.

If anything Carter would have had incentive to delay so that Reagan had to take the hit on either conceding to the terms or taking over the hostage situation. Jennifer can't even think in terms of what's best for either side other than #DLITW.
