Canada is a failed state

Prorogation is all but assured at this point. We're on the verge of an Australian style constitutional crisis where the Governor General will probably have to step in and appoint Pierre as caretaker PM until new elections are held
I don't believe that the Liberal government will prorogue this. They are already polling extremely poorly and they already have very little seats as it is, proroguing would only serve to show that the Conservatives are correct in their assessment and they would only lose more seats as a result, it would effectively ruin the party for 20+ years. If they do this, you will never see another Liberal government in your lifetime.

What I think the Liberals will try to do is filibuster throughout January/February. Now, that's a long fucking time to filibuster a non-confidence vote but they'll go as long as they can to delay it while appearing as if they care about the issues they'll filibuster with and shit talking the Conservatives as hard as they ever have. I think they want to go down and try to drag the Conservatives down with them by some small measure, it's a pretty shitty plan but it's all they have.

Do you think there would be a new government deal to hand over all the unwanted Tim Horton employees to Elon?
The immigration policy is interesting. Essentially, they're capping population growth by tying it to how many completed housing projects and houses are built by provincial governments. It's being tied to our labor market metrics and our health care system availability. Right now, we have 4x as many people as we have houses, jobs and medical services so the idea of bringing in any new immigrants is completely off the fucking table.

There's also a loophole that the Conservative government warned the Liberals about for years that's going to be fixed (And to the liberal government's credit they have addressed this and made some efforts to fix it.) Over the past couple of years now, some of my countrymen have noticed that, wow, there's a disproportionate amount of pajeets here. Not just pajeets, but street shitting mongoloids that don't speak english and definitely aren't smart enough to attend universities. How did they get here? They're not 2nd/3rd generation, they're not skilled workers, they aren't doctors, what the fuck is going on?

It's actually really simple, these fucking retards put in fraudulent applications for fraudulent universities that don't even exist created by fucking pajeets back in India. They essentially paid a "tuition" to the brokers who created fake shit for them to be here and once they get here, they just fuck off to go work a part time job where they send all their money home and live in an apartment with 18 other pajeets, occasionally going out to nightclubs to do the "forceful needful" to every white woman they see. The government has been ignoring it for years because it would technically be too racist to say anything, meanwhile we've had pajeets flooding our fucking country en masse. It's completely disrupted our labor market, it's made our housing situation way over critical which was already critical because of the 500,000 people per year legal immigration Trudeau put in and our medical infrastructure just doesn't know how to handle it.

The pajeets are facing deportation now, it's already started. The pajeets are claiming they were "defrauded" but it's not helping them stay in Canada, so fuck 'em.

For Canadians:
The Conservatives are putting forth a motion of non-confidence on January 7th instead of waiting for Singh to fuck around for months on end. We’re at a projected 99% chance of a Conservative majority government, we’re likely looking at a late February/early March election where Trudeau will be ousted forever and we’ll have a Conservative leadership for the next decade.

For Amerimutts:
Prior to the Christmas break that the government takes, the leader of the NDP (Basically, the third party that works in conjunction with the Liberals) said he would vote non-confidence in the government, triggering an election and removing Justin Trudeau from power. He back-peddled during the vote and refused to do so in an attempt to prolong his stay in the government until March, where he’ll get his pension. He’s essentially holding the country hostage until he can get his absurdly large pension and be set for his entire life. The Conservatives have motioned to parliament that he can suck many such dicks, he’s being dragged back in to do his fucking job and vote based on shit he’s said he’s going to do. When this happens, an election will be triggered and the Conservatives WILL win as the majority government. A majority government means they have over half the seats in parliament and they may pass whatever fucking laws they like, like banning HRT for kids, stopping all immigration, ejecting all the fucking pajeets back to their shit-stain country, fixing all the homosexual fag shit that Trudeau injected into everything, ect. All the good stuff the Conservative party has been planning to do for over a decade.

We're so fucking back boys.
But are the Leaf Conservatives like the Tories in the UK where they're just a slightly less leftist Left party? Or will they actually do these based things?

No, they're considerably more right leaning but I think they do maintain things like not banning abortion and keeping the medicare system we have. Other than that, they want to defund federal funding of federal media, they want to disperse gun buy backs and gun bans while strengthening your rights to own a gun, throwing out drug decriminalization, getting rid of kids using HRT, completely defunding universities that unconstitutionally block any free speech, leaving the internet fucking alone in terms of censorship and letting police handle things like that, things like that. I think the party leader is "technically" what you'd consider to be a Libertarian.

All this because Trump got re-elected

keeping the medicare system we have
So Canadians are still going to go to the US to get treatment because they can't get an apointment at home. Healthcare is something that I think is something your screwed in some regard with no matter your country.

It has nothing to do with that, this has been going on for years. If anything, it's because of the poor policy decisions of Trudeau.

It's true that some rich Canadians will travel to the U.S for elective procedures (Non-urgency surgeries like removing a fucking mole.) 95% are not doing that, not only do we not have the money, we don't have the luxury to drive for hours for a procedure. We all go to our hospitals here and you're likely to wait 2-6 months for a procedure like that anyway.

I am 100% convinced Justin will stay as Liberal leader after he loses, maybe not until the next election but definitely for a while
There's no chance he doesn't do this (ruining his party in the process for, as another user put it, their rest of our lives) but refusing to leave office after losing would be the cherry on the shit sundae that is Canadian politics.

I'd put money on him pulling another Emergencies Act stunt before the election, regardless of whether it happens early or not, if I had the money to gamble.

Liberals MPs have the power to bring together their caucus, do a sort of anonymous vote and remove him from power forcefully if he doesn't remove himself. It's a non-confidence in prime ministerial power so to speak, it was introduced in 2015. Will they do that? It's hard to say. It would be the best move for them right now, they could show Canada that they take this shit seriously and they care by doing it, it would heal some damage and it's not as if a change in leadership is going to hurt or help their chances of victory, they don't actually have a chance.

Trudeau never misses an opportunity to embarrass the country. Throwing a temper tantrum and refusing to resign is on brand if you ask me.

I can't wait to see Trudeau get his ass royally kicked, but alas, I have doubts that that rat fuck Pierre will actually stem the pajeet tide and fix our fucking immigration system. Oh sure, he'll say some nice words, and maybe make some token gestures, but in the end, he serves the same corporate masters as Justin.

At least we might get TTD out of it?

Honestly I fuckin love Canada, I've loved Canada ever since I was a kid, you guys are always super nice to me and mine when we cross the border from the Lower 48 to go home and you've never once given me shit about my guns (the ones you found ;)) or my dogs or anything like that, and you've given my little brother lots of opportunities (he's head coach of a hockey program)

I've been sick to my stomach the last decade or so watching your policies eat away at a great country that shares so much in common with my home state, I hope to god that y'all can right the ship and stop these fuckin horrible leeches from draining away what makes Canada great

Trudeau turned Tim Hortons into my least favorite indian restaurant. I hope he gets locked up for all the shady shit he has done, he has destroyed Canada's economy, military, and has robbed millions of Canadian's of their hard earned money. What he did during the chink flu and what happened to those truckers was evil. I hope the CBC get blown out of the water, they truly deserve all the bad things coming to them.

I don't really have much hope in an early election. But the Conservatives should do everything in their power to find a way to take Singh's pension away from him

They're distinctly more towards the right within Canada but would probably still be considered left-wing or like very-center right by American political metrics.

I think this is possible and the reason we're current in this holding pattern is that they're trying to figure out a game plan for leadership of the Liberal party.

Trudeau is likely trying to save his own skin and keep his ass in power and is trying to broker something, while the rest of the party is trying to figure out a way to extricate him. It might just be giving Trudeau a way to go out on 'his terms' while basically being the scapegoat until the party can try to sort itself out.

This is probably going to play out about as well as Paul Martin did as PM (ie, not very well.)

I think the big issue right now is that no one wants to be the leader. Whoever ends up taking the mantle is going to be in a lameduck role. Any bullshit or scandals that leak out are going to be put on their lap, the current state of affairs and voter dissatisfaction is going to transfer to them. There is high potential for the new leader, even if they're interim, to have a worse time of it than Kim Campbell.

Justin's old man Pierre also stubbornly clung to office while extremely unpopular with his own party. He claimed he "Took a long walk in the snow" one night when he decided to resign. Something that a lot of the liberals are telling Justin to do.

There is a bit of irony in how Justin's time in office copied his own father's time in office. We as Canadians certainly doomed ourselves to repeat history.

It's a miracle no one's invaded and conquered Canada yet. Maybe the Indian immigrants will change that.
