I’ve lived in southern California my whole life:
-Outside of Los Angeles county you can get your concealed carry permit fairly easily, and the hard part about guns is how quickly they sell out here, but you can indeed get pretty decent ones outside of LA county.
-Every store will give you a bag, and only grocery stores legally have to charge you for them. I personal save all of my bags and use them as liners for my bathroom trash can.
-Paper straws were a very short lived fad. I haven’t seen a paper straw in 3 years, they’re all plastic again even in LA
-illegals are a never ended problem and that’s a fact, at least trannies don’t breed.

Our area has a ton of problems but most of what you said aren’t among them
 
Whether a good idea or not from a geopolitical standpoint it's kind of fascinating that Trump is the first president with imperial ambitions in probably over a hundred years.
