Lowtax needs to cut ties with his shitty mods if he wants his forum to not be a stumbling homunculus powered by nostalgia and unfunny shitposters. KF is hands down a way funnier forum than SA has been for a while. It's all this PC troon bullshit that infected the entire forum and made it impossible to be funny without getting banned.

FAU can't seem to grasp the difference between someone who is trans and someone who is a troon. How can an SA moderator not understand what doxxing is, it doesn't make any sense. Wow yeah sure someone compiled some shit users posted in a public place DO NOT REBLOG.

Well some of the details are just ridiculously obvious since they use the same handles across the entire internet- like twitter, twitch, twitch and okcupid. Once I got a toe in, I started noticing twitter handles, twitch followers, fb accounts etc, and just saved the pics they put up as I went along.

Wasn't it Zen Death Robot who was bawing about the work he put in? He's the one that is going over the site's code to rid it of Radium, right? That sounds like a not so subtle power play to me.

Especially funny considering how Something Awful seems to pride itself on being so strictly moderated and admins like FAU are being described as "fair" but in the end it's just a bunch of goons doing whatever they want, pushing their personal agendas and acting out their petty grudges while Lowtax goes

FYAD at its best is extremely funny. It's their only "job" in the forum so threads which miss the mark are tolerated more there than elsewhere on the forum. It's also very insular because it's a very specific type of humour. Because they were the forum superstars and produced a great deal of content in the earlier days, mods/admins have always wanted their approval. The "zany" mods/admins wanting to hang there made sense. The unfunny mods/admins, like Ozma, wanting to hang there didn't. They pretty much bought their way in by letting FYAD shit up the rest of the place.

Yes. Lowtax has limited technical skills and is relying on ZDR to write new software for the forum to bring it into the 21st century. Users suggested much better options but Lowtax just didn't listen.

I don't know why they care so much about harassments and doxing, these people already troll themselves into suicide without outside help.
 
The only theoretical way for Lowtax to fix his forums as a business model would be to discover a method to travel back in time. Using such he could prevent the "mod sass = instant ban" rule that allowed a series of increasingly bizarre internet weirdos absolute power over the SA forums/subforums to ban whatever they felt was unfunny/wrong/hate speech. I don't know what Lowtax does with his time but it seems like he abdicated power and left admins of awful link of the day caliber to run the day-to-day business of his crown jewel.
 
You're missing MageMage, the dude who searched for "tranny" then reported a thread on car transmissions, and Arivia, the thing that trooned out over the joke in Pillars of Eternity (neither come anywhere close to passing)
