A monarchy is always better than a multiheaded hydra of elected parasites. Kings a dickhead fuckup? Kill him. Congress is actively treasonous? Hope you have a plan to kill like 500 people and somehow ensure their replacements aren't just as bad.Hamilton was a piece of work. Yeah I know he got a musical and that he died and all, nigga still created the foundation of the banking monster we have today
That is what would have happened. And we would have been fucked. The bureaucracy would still win, you'd just have less ways to counter it
And your point is?
Not saying I completely trust Trump to do everything he's promised, but I would prefer to have a king who genuinely does the things Trump says he's going to do than Biden being a de facto king anyway, and doing everything he can to screw me over while enriching himself.
Powerlessness corrupts people far more than power ever could.
All of this is why we have the system that we do. A king only works until it doesn't. All of you are optimistic as fuck.A monarchy is always better than a multiheaded hydra of elected parasites. Also kings have good motivation to not fuck shit up intentionally seeing as they know they get credit for all things good and bad. Instead of just being able to launder their authority by saying people voted for you so they clearly wanted the political assraping you're giving them.
boil oceansNigger, what the fuck does this even MEAN?
That's why we put the only man who will outlive us all on the throne. All of this is why we have the system that we do. A king only works until it doesn't. All of you are optimistic as fuck.
The kings of Europe had their young men slaughtered by the million for utterly stupid reasons until we put that worthless continent in a permanent chokehold. Democracies have a lot of issues, but we've got a lot less stomach for shedding our sons' blood than monarchies do.A monarchy is always better than a multiheaded hydra of elected parasites. And what we're doing now is working how?All of this is why we have the system that we do. A king only works until it doesn't. All of you are optimistic as fuck.
Your impatience is why the Founders made the executive weak. Makes impulse moves far less impactful. Either the system works together or it doesn't. One does not rule them allAnd what we're doing now is working how?
In what way am I optimistic? I don't think Trump is going to be able do everything he's promising, for many reasons.
I'm just saying I would prefer a benevolent king than "voting" for someone who is going to treat me like shit and be a king in all but name anyway.
Yes, especially when the President and members of his family are notable sex pests. Is there some unwritten rule that they had to pick the ugliest fuckign people? Not a single attractive person in that picture, not one.
It’s the United States Canal now:

Denmark laughed off any effort to acquire Greenland last time so it won't be surprising if it does so again. Maybe exploiting any political rifts between the Danish government and the natives of the island could be beneficial to any American plan to make it part of the country.Let's bully the Danes too, they deserve it. Greenland is now our Wano:

This is fun, I almost feel like Trump is setting up a giant call out that this is what Chyna has been doing for years and no one did anything about it so fuck you, Manifest Destiny Pax Americana.
Does Greenland have the usual Eurohypocrit "At least we're not American!" mentality, or are they just happy to have running water and bread?Denmark laughed off any effort to acquire Greenland last time so it won't be surprising if it does so again. Scared, sissy?
Accounts @AdamKinzinger follows or mentioned can reply
Yes what a coward not wanting to send others to fight and die.
The kings were not in power in at least the 2nd world war. Elective governments as seen by the examples of Athens and Rome are not shy from waging war. Instead it's more the rise of nuclear weapons, popularization of TV, and the movement to destroy the fighting spirit of males. The kings of Europe had their young men slaughtered by the million for utterly stupid reasons until we put that worthless continent in a permanent chokehold. Democracies have a lot of issues, but we've got a lot less stomach for shedding our sons' blood than monarchies do.
It blows my mind that they will do shit like this and not be the least bit embarrassed to do so. I don't know how you can not be humiliated to call someone a sissy and then block anyone from responding who you don't allow and not realize how it makes you look.
This is mainly true when you conceive of congress and the legislative as according to it's role within an abstract civic model for a constitutional republic that has almost no reality to it.I find the talk of the Legislative branch being too powerful very odd. The history of the U.S. is the history of the Legislative branch losing and giving away power.
• Marbury v Madison usurped veto power to the Judicial over the Legislative (which it absolutely should not have).
• Hamilton and the Federalists pushed for a strong Executive.
• One of the first things Hamilton did was get the Legislative branch to create the Treasury Department under the Executive branch, with Hamilton as the head, of course.
• Then Hamilton pushed for a Central Bank to remove the Legislative's control of its finances even further.
• The Judiciary continually made tortured interpretations of the Constitution concentrating power into the Executive and itself. Or, weakening the Constitution itself.
• The political parties interceded themselves between citizen voters and the Legislative. Culminating in today, where only preselected candidates are viable.
• Lincoln acted as tyrant over the subjugation of the Legislative.
• Reconstruction disenfranchised the citizens of the U.S.
• The Progressive Era is well known as a time of strengthening the Presidency (beyond even Lincoln's power)
• The Federal Reserve functionally moved the most important power of the government (money creation and financial control) out of the government entirely.
• FDR and WWII solidified the Legislative as little more than a circus show.
Which leaves us today with a Legislative that does not represent the voice of American citizens, because the power of the citizens to choose their elected leaders has been subverted. And even if a voice of the citizens sneaks through, no power can be wielded.
