Kayla can get alimony & child support in the event of divorce, especially as she’s been married to Nick for 20+ years. If he isn’t much of an active participant in her life, nor the children’s, she’d be in a fairly similar position to just drawing a few checks each month, without all his whining & emotional blackmail. Similarly (& to be fair,) Nick would be free to be the faggot he is & could do whatever shit he wants, so it would be a win/ win.
