With the slightest bit of forethought and a real intention to kill Fuentes, he could have broken multiple windows, introduced an accelerant through the broken windows, started a fire, and waited on Fuentes to either cook to death or exit one of the two main points of egress and shoot him. If you don't care about getting caught, it's very easy to kill people.

edit: To lower the risk of this happening to your home, you can install protective film on the windows to help keep your family safe and give you an early warning of people aiming to cause you harm.

So the guy just finished committing multiple murders and is likely wary of law enforcement turning the corner any minute. It would've been fastest for him if Nick just came to the door and he was able to do what he came there to do without spooking Nick into barricading himself. Trying to force his way into the house would've been slow going, and he has no idea if Nick is carrying (regardless of the laws).

Nick has said and done some horrible things. But he's not at the level of Osama bin Laden where I'm okay with an extrajudicial raid taking him out. Remember when this was a lolcow forum and we would laugh about stuff, and not gripe that somebody wasn't murdered in cold blood on video?

It would be strategic (not saying this happened) of Nick to have a suicidal Groyper with nothing to lose do this. It builds his defence for the pepperspray charge against the stalker victim and her stalker witness.
