Bender approves of this. #RobotLivesMatter

>implying the EU will be around by the time this becomes a real issue.

Might as well ban X-wings and set up a refugee camp for those blue things in Avatar.

Fucking hell, don't those wankers got anything better to do with their time?

Just the fact they want to make a robot liable for the damage it causes raises red flags to me that this kind of retardation is being push by the manufacturers of said robots to evade future lawsuits.

Nigga our robots are very primitive by any standards where we would have to worry about them getting rights.

IF robots ever become sentient and self-thinking, then yeah go ahead, but we have robots that can barely walk up stairs, nevermind fucking gaining their rights. REeEEEEEEE

Obama's still got a week, don't give him ideas to blame flying drone #23 over his mass murders.

You ableish shitlords are exactly the reason we need rights and hate speech legislation to protect us from your verbal genocide. (Machinocide?)

This is really stupid.

I don't believe sentient AI (implemented in anything other than biological matter) will ever achieve (edit: realtime) speeds faster than, maybe, a sparrow. People take science fiction too seriously and then gloss over the actual technological hurdles.
