If he changed his number or turned notifications off he would be driven even more insane from being left alone with reality and his thoughts. At this point they must be a distraction that he needs to cope.

If he develops sepsis nothing is saving him. He lives alone. If he had any early warning signs I doubt he’d pay attention to them. Being in pain in a rotting body is his normal. Once sepsis set in he’d be delirious and die in bed. His watchers would be who would initiate a welfare check and his body found before decomp completely destroyed the resale value of the trailer.

If that happens, I hope Clint turns the trailer into a Cobra shrine and entombs Josh’s body in it, surrounded by his goth treasures. He should bury the entire thing to be found a millennia from now by future archaeologists, like a pharaoh.
 
Cobes is going to be around for decades.

Ask anyone who has worked an ambulance or been a cop. The local homeless guy has 2 teeth in his mouth, open festering sores that allow you to see bones, and only eats when not drunk/high.

Human body can take a lot of shit before it collapses. Cobes will outlive some of us on this thread

Has there been any results of him going to therapy at all? Isn't it supposed to make you a more productive/well adjusted member of society and maybe get you to quit drinking?

I feel like he's just gotten worse faster since he started attending. Maybe they just gave him skills to accept his situation and give even less of a fuck.

The therapist is probably telling cobes his feelings are valid and he stops listening after that.
