Now, I am not for a second saying it is true.
If by some slim margin it is true, I am theorizing that Pat misread the gym bro.
The gym bro might have actually been praising the woman, but Pat being Pat, so fat, delusional and stupid, misinterpreted the praise as mockery.
That could explain why the gym bro would have hung around while fat went off and got some dumbbells and asked him to hold them.
He might have just taken Pat for a special needs guy who was stable enough to work out alone, possibly was left at the gym by his carer, realized his mistake by engaging so just did what Pat asked in case Pat flipped out in a tard rage.
