The legal route is a non-starter imo. These girls probably just want to try and move on and downplay it as much as possible. If they announce a massive lawsuit against a youtuber, it will lead much more people seeing the videos. That's not even factoring in the fact that Destiny has a lot more money and resources behind him, as well as him being a vindictive little weasel (he's already leaked President Sundays real name in response to him covering the Lauren stuff, he didn't even go over the other shit).
People like Pxie rely on her connection to Destiny for her job, so even if it was shared without consent I don't expect her to say anything against him. I don't think it's really a question of what should be done legally, and instead it's about calling out bad behavior. I personally wouldn't care at all if Destiny ever made an effort to change his behavior, but he doesn't. Ultimately that was Max's goal, which he fucked up because anyone could point to Max just being vindictive about his personal issues with Destiny. Max should have shut the fuck up about the reddit shit and not publicly aired out his grievances with Destiny that had nothing to do with how Destiny treats people. (Like being upset that Destiny thinks Max was abusive to Shaelin.)
A lot of people can tell there is something wrong with Destiny but can't quite put their finger on it (Ludwig saying the vibes were off), or can't describe it very well (Phil Labonte's interaction at Tim Pool's compound), or are personally involved with him which allows him to debate his way out of certain things or they can infer that if they say something about Destiny he's going to send his footsoldiers after them. Not directly. But by kind of vaguely gesturing to that person or by impuning their character. Destiny says all the time that he sets the tone and beliefs of his audiences. He knows it. He knows what he can do to someone without directly doing it.
I firmly believe he's got narcissistic personality disorder, and you can describe it in terms of how narcissistic parents control their Golden Child. Even if the parent never directly treats that child like he does everyone else, they SEE him do it to other people and there's always the possibility that it might be turned on them. This is how Destiny controls people like Melina who saw his insane behavior first hand. They probably all feel this way to some degree. And this is a guy who HAS gone after people's school and jobs.
