Why should I care about a "social contract" that is just a social construct anyway according to troons and other postmodern scum? It's not like they respect it. I seem to remember "men and women go to the proper restrooms" being a part of the social contract, and that men don't use their superior physical strength to abuse and intimidate women. Not that troon scum cared.

A very good point.

If "gender" is a social construct, therefore artificial, therefore meaningless, then surely other social constructs like not plain murdering people for being a mild annoyance are the same level?

Specifically Bluesky just said they aren't banning Jesse.

The primary complaint at this point is that occasionally someone who "would have trouble successfully patronizing a Waffle House" will post something unhinged on Bluesky about Jesse and Jesse will post the screenshot to twitter, probably because completely unhinged posts are funny, likely sometimes because they make an accusation he thinks he really needs to respond to, perhaps other reasons.

Liz specifically is complaining Jesse is breaching the "social contract" of not noticing unhinged lunatics who have blocked Jesse (because they subscribe to one of the many blocklists) on one platform, and chuckling about said unhinged posts on another platform which don't directly share an audience because these particular unhinged lunatics fled to Bluesky in the first place to get away from Twitter.

But it's a conspiracy, Elliot protests! After all the scare quotes around "unaffiliated parties" is implying about as hard as his immuncompromised fingers can type, that Jesse and these unnamed parties are working together to harrassmurder trannies!

His evidence is that "harassment" starts happening, supposedly, to these unhinged lunatics or their pet projects (see also the petition to ban Jesse from Bluesky) after they get "screenshot dunked" (on twitter), and apparently none of this is the responsibility of the people publicly posting unhinged lunatic rantings on a public platform intended to be consumed by the...uh...public. Other people can't possibly find this funny, or be farming the unhinged lunatics themselves, but for the occasional tweets of Jesse Singal.

I'm not sure it makes any more sense spelled out like that, but that's what he's talking about. :story:

Holy shit you're right. Elliott's always reminded me of some sort of hideous monster but I never could find one that worked. Oh my god it fits so well since Rawhead Rex is a gigantic feral rape monster and everything! I will never be able to watch Rawhead Rex the same way ever again.

Also does anyone think he seems even more unhinged lately? The weight gain, the failed hostile takeover of Blueski, the lolsuit he keeps obliquely referencing, the public meltdowns. Seems like our man is under some stress.

Jesse Singal is a lying monster who should be killed, except when he’s saying things in favour of Dong, when he’s an impeccable crusader for truth.

What I like is how Dong can’t actually repeat in any detail what we’re saying about him, because it is in fact true and we can back it up with proof. And he’s too much of a narcissist to post the stuff about him being a square-headed hunchback with yellow teeth and no sense of style.
