This thread has been starved of happenings and is slowly going insane from the repetitive and boring podcast episodes they keep churning out... sad! Ian, Anisa, please save us... do a pregnancy announcement or something...
 
There was a time when I would bother explaining why, from my perspective, Anisa being attractive or not is irrelevant to this thread and even a couple of times I ended said essays predicting we would return to the cycle of smash or pass a couple of pages later.

An old friend of mine looked like this, it was simply the mid point on the slow road to non-binarism and eventually attempting to change his gender. TBH, I dont get it. I'm not picking on you, I just don't get how looking like shit is ironic, because irony needs some kind of a context, so that I can notice that the other side wants to signify the opposite of what they are expressing. If I see somebody like kurtis or ian at that time, who looks like a greasy hobo, I simply see somebody who looks like a greasy hobo and I know I don't want to have anything to do with them. You know what I mean?

From my perspective it's like the 'hurr durr, jokes on them, I only pretend to be retarded' meme.

I agree, it makes no sense. Its just a way for them to feel like they stick out from the crowd, or they don't care about what others think about them. Like "hey look at me, I'm so confident in my character that I don't have to put any effort into it, and I don't care about conventional norms!" Which is fine and all if youre actually making a statement, but when all you're doing is mimicking some other greasy asshole, it just makes you look like an unoriginal dork that's substituting character with a bunch of shitty fashion like you're a TGI Friday's. It's just stupid.

There was a time a girl came up to me in a bar and asked if I would pretend I knew her and we were meeting each other because some creepy old guy was saying gross stuff and touching her arm. Yadda yadda.
